have you permed your hair? if you have put stuff like that in it then you have to start all natural... if your hair isnt all natural then it wont lock up.

you could try to get someone to cornrow them after you tighten them. then if you want spray it with a lil water, let it set over night. then take them out and they're wavy. its called a braid out. u hair's getting longer.
Your dreads lookin good! I would use bandanas and headbands for your length, then could add a different look and possibly color coordinate with enough, maybe start adding some beads. I'm in my early stages of having good and bad days. Do you wear a cap to sleep?
