If you check out the band's homepage you can listen to short excerpts showing all of the new songs. Some of them seem very promising and they do include folk music elements too, although there is really a bit of change in the band's style. This isn't the best song from the album I think, but it's not a bad song, and at least finally it seems that Lyriel is beginning to receive the professional attention it should have deserved long ago. And more music videos please, it's so good to see them.

all I can say is: before judging some change in style you perceive, wait for the album. also, they've obviously gone through an (I'd call it organic) change that you could already hear on Autumntales, and even more so on Paranoid Circus. To me there's always been a very clear direction, and the 2 new songs that are out so far are definitely consistent with it. Also, Lyriel are just about the last band that would change their style just to be more 'commercial'

This is not a bad song, and really hope the album is better, because Lyriel made awesome music, it was light but it had a very heavy sound and it had some folk elements that were their own style. I'd hate to see all gone through the window because it's not "commercial" enough. This band needs more promotion, that's all. His songs were amazing. Let's see how the new album sounds.
