  • simply beautiful -

  • he was an inspiration to me as a child and I still have a special place in my heart for him to this day. Thank you Lee for all the great performances and memories.

  • Such incredible, unmatched talent. 'Nuff said!! All you folks criticizing Mr. Liberace: what can you do?

  • Chopin purists would not be happy with what Liberace did with Nocturne in E flat, OP. #9, etc. I however found it totally entertaining. Liberace's detractors were just pissed off because Lee played everything the way he wanted to, not the way that they wanted.

  • you hope.. but I can't enjoy such thing

  • Liberace is missed very much...

  • @postiekelly Yes he is,i am younger than most fans and in fact have no friends that are interested in his music :( I have also been an oddball though, when I was little my favourite artist was Barbra Streisand

  • @balto4 Doesn't make you an oddball...merely open minded

  • freshair345: Thanks :) Yea a lot of my friends think it's weird but oh well LOL I like music from all kinds

  • On the seventh day, God didn't rest...music was created...Enjoy

  • @balto4 It just shows you are willing to try new and different things and open yourself to what the world has to offer. And if your friends dont or cant thats their loss. And if they're your real friends they'd at least understand or listen with you.

  • @Cavillier1970 My friends are actually ok with what I listen, they joke around sometimes,I don't really like most of what they listen to either LOL

  • Does anyone know if he made the arrangements himself?

  • Of course. There's no other way at this level! He was a one and only and it's sad to think that there's no one to replace talent of this magnitude these days!

  • Andyfirthjazz:I agree,he was one of a kind thats for sure!!! This is beautiful and makes me tear up I must admit. Sadly I'm of a generation that thinks 'talent' is someone like Adam Lambert. Liberace is my favourite artist right now,and I have only become a fan recently. I was very young when he died and my mother and Grandmother were always fans,so finally checked him out for myself as I am disappointed with the music industry now. what a nice person he was also

  • A truly gifted and awe inspiring pianist!

  • And his use of the pedal....People will be studying his pedaling technique for centuries to come. He can trill better than

the Rach. It comes straight from the heart.

  • i thought it was revolutionary but hes just putting a bunch of diffent pieces together

  • anybody know the difference of chopin's etude op.10 no.12 vs. nocturne in e-flat major and polonaise?

  • difference OF?

  • bleah, go and do a real work. buffone

  • The greatest showman the world will vere know - and to that he was the kindest and most gentle man. His family and friends shared with me the most touching stories of his tireless generosity to others. A true legend and a lovley man.

  • Im filled w/love ugh..

  • Nesxt time you go to Vegas go to the Liberace

museum and see Wes Winters play his songs.

    The man is fantastic!!!!

  • Wes Winters is no longer playing at the Liberace Museum. He left some time ago.

  • i love that Nocturne from Chopin...lovely!

  • And finishes with one of my favorite Nocturnes...

  • such perfect timing and liberace is the best

  • Wow, I love it... Chopin is one of my favorite composers too, so all i can say is: BEAUTIFUL

  • he was beautiful!

  • Magnificent!

  • This is so awsome

  • very good

  • oh my gosh!! I always wanted to hear liberace blay the Revolutionary etude by chopin! this is awesome

  • It is reassuring to know there is at least one other person in the world who has always wanted the same kinds of things I've always wanted! I am rather amazed at the comments which these clips have brought; I was afraid that history might view Liberace as laughing-stock but he seems to be striking a chord even with those who don't remember him alive. Liberace could always re-intent himself and he seems to be doing it again!

  • hey does anyone know whats the first song that liberace plays from chopin?

  • Do you mean on this video? It is the Revolutionary Etude (and it aint easy!).

  • It's Chopin's Étude Op. 10 No. 12 in C Minor 'Revolutionary'

  • That guy is the flamer of all flamers, but damn how he could play the piano! One of the best ever.

  • A delighful melody of Chopin, without hamming it up. Nice and relaxing to listen to.
