Whether Islam teaches it is OK to forcefully convert someone or not, Muslims have commonly forced people to convert. Even Karen Armstrong whom you listed earlier says that during the time of Muhammad there were forced converts. In the hadith u have quoted, there are three conditions set to the people whom the armies were sent to. None of the three conditions were to force anyone to convert to Islam.
When the Muslim armies fought, they only fought the opposing army. They never killed any innocent people. When they won, they never forced anyone to convert to Islam.
They were however, brought under the Laws of God,which are the most Just laws known to mankind.

The only thing that is saving u right now is that u have been wise enough not to attempt to cite any so-called prophecies from the OT that talk about the coming of Jesus (as). Christians did the same thing. They make war on those that are not Christian. They call it the "Holy Office of the Inquisition". You call it "jihad". In both cases the 'enemy' was doing nothing. Whether Islam teaches it is OK to forcefully convert someone or not, Muslims have commonly forced people to convert. Even Karen Armstrong whom you listed earlier says that during the time of Muhammad there were forced converts. In the hadith u have quoted, there are three conditions set to the people whom the armies were sent to. None of the three conditions were to force anyone to convert to Islam.
When the Muslim armies fought, they only fought the opposing army. They never killed any innocent people. When they won, they never forced anyone to convert to Islam.
They were however, brought under the Laws of God,which are the most Just laws known to mankind.

Lets break down the Christian/Jewish case for Ishmael (as) being excluded: Ishmael (as) was born to a bondswoman. Abraham (as) was stricken in faith. Genesis 17:21 says But.

"Among His Signs are the Night and the Day and the sun and moon. Prostrate not to the Sun and the Moon but Prostrate to Allah Who created them if it is Him ye wish to serve." (41:37)
I got plenty more verses regarding the moon in the Qur'an. are you starting to get the point here?

Well, neither did the pagans of arabia. You see bonjournut, the pagans of Arabia know that there is a Supreme Creator, they only thing is, they words of "gods" with Him. They never called any of their "lesser" gods Allah.
Just go to any Hindu and ask them if Krishna is God. See what they say.

I love how u seem to think u know all about me. u have no idea about my past or how I came to study Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Yet, u readily write me off as some1 who was born into Islam and grew up with the fear of the Qur'an.
How do u know my upbringing was religious? How do u know whether or not I grew up in a household that practiced Islam?

I know why u are doing it though. U see, the more I present facts, the more entrenched in ur denial u become, so that u can sleep better at night.
The truth is, I have been saving and printing all of our exchanges. Why? I show them to an atheist friend of mine to see what he has to say.
Needless to say, after the first two exchanges, he began questioning why I was even wasting my time...
And this is a guy with whom I have had PLENTY of debates about evolution.
