I rated AIR lowest among 3 Key's VN adaptations by KyoAni, but it's also amongst my favourites. CLANNAD was their best and probably one of the best all-time tearjerkers anime.

ps.do not compare Angel Beats with any one of them, it's on much lower levels. If it was a 24+ ep. anime, it'd have chance to be another epic anime. (The story has potential to do so, but it's ending was too rushed and ruined everything)

I just cant tell which is better....clannad or air.....

clannad was sadder though.......Especially afterstory.

But air was sad too.....but not as sad.....

For people who havent watch clannad, i urge you to do so.

1st season of clannad was more towards the comedy.

But the 2nd season.........Prepare a box of tissue beside you.

But anyway, i guess il give both clannad and air an equal score.

Angel beats will be slightly lower though.

@OtherSisster Check out Angel Beats! It's really great, Not as...Drammatic, until the later episodes, but AMAZING none the less, and later on, portrays a similar moral as this especially the last 3 episodes of it

@DEADLYCRAMP Oh no, I'm not saying the first season is bad. It's just meant to be sort of a build up to the second, I think. To let us get to know the characters. I had watched Air and Kanon before Clannad, so when I finished the first season, I was like, "Well, that wasn't THAT sad..." Then I watched After Story and it made me feel heartbroken at times. :'D

I'm just letting people know not to judge Clannad as a series on the first season only.

I love this anime- it has to be my all-time favorite, no contest. I mean, Naruto is alright, but nowhere near the quality of Air to me. The first time I went to an Anime con, I cosplayed as Misuzu, nevermind that I had watched Naruto for a year prior to Air. :'D

Air is a very good visual novel, however its adaptation is no more, no less, but a mere average anime. That being said, the soundtrack is a pure win.

Life has so much meaning and it makes you believe in it again. It touches your soul in a way that not many things can. And music like this is the perfect example.

You know whats nice. being able to listen the song and hear about people feeling the same way I did about watching air. Out of my friends only one watched any of air and he stoped watching because he declared it to boring after only 3 episodes. well at least i know there are others out there who experienced the wonder a beauty of air
