This utopian vision of mom and pop stores thriving because they run a better business if flawed. What is the primary goal of capitalism? To maximize profits, correct? The reason why people get stepped on is because of government mandates, bailouts, inflation, etc., not because of Capitalism. Corporatism, yes. Not Capitalism. Well for one, we'd have an abundant amount of jobs because our country wouldn't be piss poor from all of the inflation. There would be no special interest groups privately owned but acting as a government entity like the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Group, etc. That are in bed with corporations. Without corporatism, the business of elites shitting on regular people would be over, and the economy would be back on track.
