I saw them live last night in Club Paradiso, thank god we had the best rock band of the last 15 years in combination with a fantastic crowd, as if only real fans were allowed. Awesome show, nothing like those kiddies in this video. Too much beer and weed must have killed their last 2 braincells. But again, last night, Club Paradiso, whoever was there will agree: prob the best rock concert EVER!

@bigmac949 They mix and produce their own albums, but they don't filter the studio work through any processors to clean it up. They record it raw and release it in the same fashion, thus their raw live sound is the exact same as their studio sound =D One of MANY reasons why I love the band. They're not afraid to showcase their imperfections

@bigmac949 I was noticing the same thing...just killer live, sound just like studio. I think a lot of that may have to do with their studio practices. They shy away from a lot of the extra effects (reverb, delay, etc) that every other "modern" recording is just layered in. So what you hear in the studio ends up being much closer to exactly how it sounds live.

Having attended many rock/alternative/punk concerts, the cake concert was by far the most mellow I had ever been to! It was definitely the chillest concert I have been too, however their authentic/ original sound was awesome!!!

I got to see this band LIVE at the ROXY in LA. It was awesome! We didnt have tickets, we were hoping to buy some, but it was sold out. the scalpers were had tickets for 60 bucks... originally they were 15. Then fellow fans came by with 2 tickets and simply gave us their extra tickets! Those 2 couldnt buy a drink as long as i saw them at the bar.
