i think every uncharted fan really connects to this song...it has been there from the start and evolved in each game. It brings memories from no1 and no2 creating an feeling too great for words....simply put Uncharted has set the benchmark for gaming.

I hate the fact, that they want to make a movie out of all great games... the music can't get any better than this and so is the feeling you have while playing this. It is epic. No film could generate those feelings you have by exploring the world with your own pace...

Uncharted is a great series with fun characters, a wonderful cinematic feel and perfect pacing that would work great in movie form if it were done correctly.

...BUT...

I see no reason. The characters are all very recognizable movie archetypes and the stories are homages to 1950's matinee serials. I'd love to see more movies with this kind of sense of adventure, but I see no reason the Uncharted license needs to be attached to it.

Why make this game series into a movie? The opportunity to experience Uncharted already exists within the games. Theres no need for some business driven film studio to muddy up the experience and integrity that the game already provides so very, very well. Just boot up your PS3, its right there waiting.

Sully was supposed to be Nate's father and was more "family friendly" and National Treasure-like than a modern day Indiana Jones. The reason I think this would make a great movie while others fail is because all you have to do is recreate the game step by step no changes. In other games you cannot do that because some things just cannot be adapted into film but every aspect of this game can be put into the film, hell you would barely have to change the dialogue in the game to the film adaption. However Hollywood would find a way to screw up this very simple process some way some how, so I say it's not worth it

Uncharted 1's Descendants vs Uncharted 2's Shambalans

The Descendants are able to crawl out of anywhere and lay silently to ambush their victims with terrifying speed and tenacity, plus they seem to be endless.

The Shambalans are like muscle-ey Navi from Avatar and they are exceedingly difficult to kill with conventional weapons. They have crossbows which are deadly even to themselves and never stop.

So which wins?

Awesome music. i prefer Uncharted 1 to Uncharted 2. it has a much deeper storyline and its a lot more personal cuz it directly impacts Nate, the playable character. I loved the moment when he saw Francis Drake dead. Plus, the Uncharted 1 enemies are a lot more interesting to fight. the Descendants (the zombie spaniard peoples) are a lot more terrifying than the Shambalans and the Nazi stuff in Uncharted 1 was an amazing touch. and finally, you get to see a lot more of Sully in Uncharted 1. :-)

Obviously. I do own more games for it. But no other PS3 exclusives really interest me, so there really is no point to keep my PS3 other than Uncharted. I'm not an Xbox fangirl by any means. I'm just really unhappy with the PS3. I know there's a lot of problems with the 360 too, but I like the exclusives more, and I have more friends to play with on it. Plus things like cross game chat and all that. I'll never sell the PS3 though, so hopefully Sony can fix a lot of the stuff.

Ah, well I think there's a lot you aren't checking out if the Uncharted games the only exclusives you play on the PS3, even if some of the games aren't that famous, but whatever works for you.
