Honestly, the only criticism I have against this is not to your build, but to Bethesda; the town just seems a bit... empty. Very few buildings. I know this is a scale issue - ie. if they'd made it "authentic" there would just have been a huge bunch of buildings with no purpose, but if I were talented enough to build something like this in minecraft, I wouldn't hesitate to try to fit in houses to make it seem more town-like.

@TheOKcraft mix this with skyrimcraft and u get mobs as well, inluding frosbite spiders, DRAGONS and giants and more! it is tank man

i've downloaded it and i can say its far away from finished (sorry if i hurt your feelings :) )like the jarls quarters,and you use too much bedrock and obsidian,use more gravel for the roads,i went in to the companions house and went in to their "sleeping quarters" and found a big empty room of emptyness :D and alot more detail,i prefer if you take photos from diffrent angles in skyrim and look at them while making it.ive done that a few times and it turns out pretty well :)

@mrbreider I know it isn't perfect, I wasn't aiming for that. To be honest it isn't viable to spend weeks upon weeks on the same build, I just don't have the time. I made the main parts of the map, and that's all that was intended. As for the building technique, I actually had the game open while doing the remake, it made it a lot easier than working from memory like I had to when I first made the map.

@FaceBusterPL You can if you want, just if you want to use a few of the smaller buildings you might need to do the interiors, and you might not want to stray too far from the city itself in case you come across the test realm's walls.

I hope this gets put up for download! What an amazing bit of work, it'd be a shame not to share it with people, to explore your work.

If your worried about people stealing it, well maybe hide a file in one of the subfolders, that gives you credit, or put some signs in hidden places that have your name on it, or a write it on a cliff somewhere. Also, the fact that you've posted this video here (and it's on reddit too) is at least evidence that it's yours.

@NikoKun Yeah this is why I just wanted to get it to 1500 views first (I set that goal before I posted on other sites) Because this is still a small channel, I didnt want to release it straight away like the previous whiterun map and have people stealing it straight away when the original video was still small.

@RoflManJar I'm still having a debate on whether or not to put a download link. Unfortunately with the last map a few people stole the work (most people thankfully credited me) and even someone downloaded the video and uploaded it themselves, claiming to make it. These things make it a bit challenging to justify a download link available to anyone :\ sorry. As for the texture pack, we're not sure when it will be done, work has slowed down on it.

@TheOKcraft For one asshole that steals it there's 1,000 good folks who will gladly enjoy it. What's bad about that? Internet is all about sharing, for others doesn't matter if they know who they creator is. They will be thankful for the team that made it no matter if they see "made by TheOKcraft" or something else. I made a lot of quality maps for garrysmod in the past with "use it how you like" and seeing all sorts of machinimas/comics/remakes alone made me feel warm inside. Oh and great work!

@BlueToOrange Yeah it's true, but sometimes it pays to be a little protective. With the last though map quite a few people used it to make their own original videos and it was pretty cool to see, it was nice when they credited too. I just wanted to make sure that the map was distinctly linked to this youtube channel first before I released it, just for those few assholes out there. :)
