yes that is a valid point and the govt announced today it would still go ahead with the f 18f but as for f22 vs f35, both aircraft can fulfill similar roles, the f35 yes can do ground attack but so can the f22 its stealth capabilitied work just as well on land based radar as on air and it can also carry the same internal bomb load and a greater external load. as for S.H i reckon we should replace the hornet A's with them
