In my own opinion, I think she was ok, she gave everything her own twist. It is indeed very hard to cover any of michaels songs using a voice, So i think she diserves a little lead way for doing at least a tribute to the king of pop. Come on... we all know there will never be another Michael Jackson but still she thought of him enough to do a tribute so i think that counts.

To me it's important to spread the word in every way that you can.

Michael also had a disease causing his skin to whiten and many thought that that was a huge irony,

but, the important thing is to deliver the message and in my opinion it succeeded. But of course if you say it won't make much sense for white people you're partially right about that.

BTW, it's a strange cover and i can't say i loved it. Covering a MJ song is tough.

both. when it comes to "listening" or if it is all about hearing a song i pay attention to both lyrics and the voice.

With both of it, it becomes a masterpiece. With only one of them it's a half song.
