Just heard that Ferrari recalled over 300 458 Italias because the glue that holds the engine heat shield (yep, that's right, they use GLUE in the engine compartment) can degrade in the presence of excess heat and cause a fire! Another brilliant showcase of Italian engineering!

@XakaB Is quite simple, just put the tyre pressures gauges and sat nav together on the left and leave the speedo by itself on the right. when you pay more than $400000 NZD for a Ferrari I'm sure you can change afew things here and there.

Italian supercars always have styling and performance but not reliability. Just read the news today and Ferrari has recalled over 1200 new Italias around the world because they catch fire. My company bought 2 tape sealer machines and they run like PIGS...absolutely USELESS. Pay over $400000 and wait over 3 years for a car that catch fire?! I'd rather go German or Japanese or even Australian.

If my mid-engined, seven-year-old MR2-S has carbon fiber paddle shift levers (Works Bell) that rotate with the F1-Imola steering wheel I installed, why does Ferrari still insist on stationary paddle shifters on their supercars? Also, the rotating function knobs on the wheel seems like a design hiccup for sure. Other than those minor quibbles and the headlights which scream "I wanna be an Audi R8," she's a beauty for sure but still no Pagani Zonda.

@VentoDriver One might initially think that (as I did before I made the switch) but coming out of a corner, it's nice to have the paddles in the exact same position as the hands, like an F1 wheel. Don't get me wrong, it's a minor issue for most potential drivers of this magnificent car who probably are cruisers, not drivers but once you've tried a kit that moves with your 9-3, it's hard to accept a stationary paddle.
