The Netherlands relies on PC to win. They effectively cheat by manufacturing penalties in the D, because they can't win by other than 'drag flickey'.

My comment was partly facetious (a lot of teams 'force the PC). However, if you read the rules thoroughly - it is tantamount to cheating to 'manufacture'. I.E. any penalty in which you attempt to make out like the opposition fouled is considered cheating. The rules are quite punishing on manufacturing - players can be sent off for trying to fake the other persons foul. IMHO manufacturing has become so embedded as to be part of the game - thus players openly exclaim - 'force the foul'.

Yep. As I say; all part of the game by now. I remember when the obstruction started to become more complicated years ago, and now people can actively turn their back on opposition with them between ball with no obstruction. The thing is - if you make a rule - you also make a way to use the rule. Not trying to get away from the line of this stream. Taeke IS one of the best players in the world, that's easy for anyone to see. But I wonder if he would want any but his best friends to comment on him

i think Taeke is one of the best players, considering thee are players like Dwyer, Zeller,etc. Its unfortunate that he is only recognised as a dragflicker not as a good defender, he is by far my faveourite player and my inspiration for defending as well as dragflicking
