FreeBSD bootloader. Yeah, you'd reboot, but it's an actual smart bootloader. It notices added or removed partitions, remembers your last choice as your default(I do wish Mac's did that), does notice any bootable drives be they USB external or whatever... I just wish it'd notice extended partitions. Dangit.
I don't know... I count *nix systems as PC because they don't really run on Mac. I don't know.. if they do, NetBSD would. It runs on EVERTHING! Heck, they STILL have an Atari and a DreamCast port!
Fail. I can unplug firewire from a PC and the only thing that happens is a disappearing icon for your disk in "my computer". If you got a BSOD doing that, you fail.

Windoze would blue screen if that happened.

This is a boot menu...no OS has loaded yet...all you would get on a PC is a BIOS error.

works with cds too, when installing windows, i had a bad windows cd, and the only way to easily get it out is to boot to this screen and eject
