  • recently found out that milk was giving me what I thought my whole life was "heat rash" Kinda sucks cuz I love dairy but I love not being rashy more :D

  • Damn I've been killing myself on eliminating stuff from my diet but the bit of milk in my morning cereal, and I am now suspicious that might be why I still have acne and ezcema(sp). I am gonna start eliminating all dairy even my yogurt tomorrow morning....very informative vid!

  • @vicky1220 did eliminating dairy work for you? I used to have acne and body rash, getting rid of processed foods, preservatives and anything artificial in my diet immediately cleared my acne (within days) and I recently realized that milk was giving me what I thought was "heat rash" my entire life. even a sip of milk would cause a break out, if I drank a lot of milk or ate a lot of dairy it would get really nasty and painful. Can't believe it took so long to figure out it was milk causing it

  • @RyanUnplugged well it did clear my cysts but I still get the usual chin pimples and I don't know what is causing it. heck i think my acne is hormonal and I will still have it even if i starve, lmao! Can do nothing else, life is not fair.

  • @vicky1220 the random pimple is inevitable. I think they can be caused by any toxin and in today's world it's impossible to stay away from them all, even if all you eat is fresh organic vegetables and meat straight from a farm (although that helps a ton). Chemicals in shampoos, makeup, laundry soap, even pollution in the air can cause skin to break out in a rash or pimples. might just be one way that the body gets rid of bad bacteria by pushing infection out, just my opinions, I'm no expert.

  • I believe this woman is very correct in her research and she is very smart for doing self research instead of seeking the advice of someone who is paid to make profit for pill compays I recently started drinking soy milk and my skin cleared up almost instantly had a cup of coffie with lots of milk yesterday and got four pimples in a single hour wow didnt consume any dairy the next day and it went away amazing things doctors dont want us to know about to fund acne compays and dermatoligists

  • It is so sad that nowadays dermatologists don't give a shit about their patients..I remember about 15 years ago I asked my dermatologist if milk would make my already cystic acne worse, and the biatch said no!! "you should drink plenty of milk everyday", "there is no connection between milk and acne"...and she prescribed me accutane(which gave me a deep depression) and sent me home.....

here I am depressed and still have acne :(

  • upon watching this again I thought I should mention I never let my son drink cow's milk...he's been on soy....thinking about going to rice milk. Dick Gregory...when I was a child...said milk was toxic to african americans...and this is appearing to be true...but not just AA...my little god son is of german and mexican descent and has some pronounced milk allergies.

  • True. Animals were not designed to consume the milk of a different species. Cow's milk is for cows because it's set up for a cow's physiology, not a human's. Cows (and other animals) have biological needs and requirements that we don't have. You would never feed a cow human milk. It's baffling why it has taken us this long to figure it out. I, personally, have become an undeniable fan of Almond milk. I LOVE the stuff. I highly recommend...

  • wait.

i think im starting to get milk allergies.

cus i been getting this skin rashes that are non itchy???

is this cause of milk?? protein shake?? will it be affect of egg too?

  • The only way to know for sure is to trying going without dairy or eggs for a few weeks and see if your problems improve. That's what I had to do. Doctors couldn't figure it out for me, so I had to do my own experimentation. Try going dairy-free and/or egg-free for a while and see if your skin rashes disappear. If not, try another food or maybe it could be your clothes detergent. It's mostly a matter of process of elimination. It's painstaking but it works! =)

  • ya ur right.

i think i do have milk allergy.

cause it turns red again whenever i take anything with milk.

    thank you.

  • Soy has hormones in it as well...eliminate ALL milk of any type. Take calcium tablets with vitamin D. Amen

  • Thanks for posting this! I've just started to do this. I recently (a few weeks ago) moved from soy milk to almond milk. I like it SO much better and it tastes really good in cereal. I've been trying to cut out all dairy altogether, but I have a weakness for milk chocolate. If I could cut out the candies I think I'd be okay., lol!

  • Hey sorry for the late reply. But that's cool. I have also avoided dairy (besides eggs) for 6 months now. I find my skin is less oily and i don't break out hardly as much. even my old scars are healing. It's odd though how only some people have allergens to dairy and some don't.

  • @stolenturtle just make milk chocolate out of your almond milk, I'm allergic to milk also and love chocolate, so I make home make rice milk and oat milk from raw rice and oats (much cheaper than buying it premade in the store) and then just add cocoa powder and a little sugar, vanilla and stevia

  • I know. There is so much misinformation out there about the dangers of certain foods. As many times as I had gone to the doctor's about my myriad problems, none and I mean absolutely NONE of them ever once thought it may be an allergy to dairy. Considering the disproportionate number of people who are allergic to it, you'd think the doctors would know something about it by now, but sadly, most don't. I had to figure it out on my own. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck!

  • I'm not sure if you mentioned it in the video, but how long did you notice no more breakouts after quitting dairy?

  • Well, it took quite a while for my scars to heal, but I don't think I was getting any new outbreaks about a week or so after cutting out dairy. Of the existing scars, it took about 6 months (some longer) for them to heal. =(

  • Naturally occuring estrogen in bovine milk creates a hormonal imbalance and thus causing acne. That is my diagnosis for myself. I can drink milk all I want with no problem, except pimples. And I now have extreme body acne scarring all to thank from milk. We shouldn't drink milk from another animal, it's not like they drink human breast milk. A few alternatives to milk are almond, hazel, or hemp milk. They all taste good to me and don't cause a breakout. Soy and dairy = my culprit.

  • I actually just started drinking almond milk and I'm finding that I really like it. I get the Almond Breeze unsweetened vanilla. It's going to be my new staple and at only $1.99 a container from Trader Joe's - well, that's even better. =)

  • Dr. Vieth says human problems with cow milk is much more than just issue of "lactose intolerance". Humans also are unable to chemically breakdown "Galactose". And we have none of the enzymes to breakdown "Caceine". So our body tries to breakdown Casiene with Lots and lots of acid. This still does not fully breakdown the casiene into its individual amino acid blocks. The high acid level is very bad for digestive system.. And the casiene can enter the blood stream and lead to auto immune diseases.

  • I don't doubt it. Other members of my family have trouble with milk too. I try to avoid it, but it's difficult because milk is in so many things. It's a staple which it shouldn't be. I know how it makes my body react and I know how it effects others as well.

We need to move away from telling people to drink cow's milk. There are plenty of other sources of calcium like fruits and vegetables. Outside of that, cow's milk pretty much serves no purpose in humans.

  • i have a serious milk allergy and believe it or not its not lactose intolerent there are different forms of a milk allergy and different reactions for me it stops me breathing

  • check out the video "Udderly Amazing" on google video. It is an lecture by Dr. Vieth on biology of how dairy causes people to become sick. If you see it, let me know what you think. Go to the Google Video website and use key words "udderly amazing" in the search bar. Keep the quotation marks in.

  • Thanks for the vid. I recently came to the conclusion that milk was causing similar health problems for me.Nice to hear I'm not alone. There's a lot of negative info out there on soy milk that frankly I don't believe, since the people "speaking out" against soy seem to have nothing to say about dairy at all. There's an anti-soy video here on youtube that has 3 pages of comments, and every one echoes the claim that soy is evil, turns men into girls, causes cancer and shrinks the brain.Gimme a break

  • No problem! I'm glad you figured out what was at the root of your health problems. We're lucky. Some people never figure it out...

  • dairy causes zits in lots of people. I had zits for years and dairy was always my favorite food (pizza, milkshakes, ect...) I NEVER MADE THE CONNECTION! Bottem line, if u got zits and you lay off dairy all together, IT WILL CLEAR UP! TRUST ME!

  • Yep! This is what happened for me!

  • Thanks for this :)

  • No problem. :)

  • I have the same problem. I'm very sensitive to milk. If I'm walking around and someone is boiling milk or warming up cheese and I smell it then I start getting zits and bumps. It's very inconvenient and I hope someone is able to find a cure.

  • Oh my goodness! That's an extremely severe case of dairy allergy. Is there nothing the doctors can suggest at all to help with that? I was on a plane a few months ago and we were all told that we couldn't order, eat or even HAVE peanuts with us because someone on the place had a severe nut allergy. Apparently, just being in the vicinity of peanuts caused them to have a severe reaction.

  • This video is useful. I have been also fighting with milk allergy all my life. I had bad symptoms including Yellow stool and extremely sticky mucus, weight loss and a wierd lump on the left side of my stomack which caused extreme pain ocassionally. I also developed adrenal fatigue syndrome because of it. I noticed that my face had wierd zits all over it and a very itchy rash.

All the symptoms are now gone after quitting milk products. Life is better than ever!

  • Wow, I'm sorry you had to go through all that. I'm really surprised that the medical world is not more cognisant of this allergy. I'm also curious if it's something they DO know about and choose not to disclose this information to their patients...

  • Thank you sooo much for talking out about this! I have been battling with this allergy for my whole life and over the years my symptoms have changed from mild things like acne and mucus build-up, to crazy stuff like vomiting, fever and even asthma attacks. And no one ever understood when I told them it was different from lactose intolerance. They just watched me weird and told me to take those lactaid capsules.

  • I know I wish someone had told me about this. I had to figure it out on my own. It took about a year and lots of pain and break outs before I happened to stumble upon it. I just hope I can help other people out there not have to go through what I went through. I'm so sorry to hear you had to endure years of it before you found out.

    Thanks for commenting!

  • I also had to figure it on my own because the doctors didnt believe any of it XD.

  • completely true

  • Thanks! I sure know it's true for me...

  • Lactose products are not that appealing but they have come a long way. It does take some adjusting to but the benefits are great. I am sure some doctors are aware of the effects of milk but where would their clientele (no longer considered patients) be? Unfortunately, we the consumers fail to think of possible causes that can be eliminated and rely on quick fixes. I believe if there is a "natural" poison (i.e. milk) than there must be a natural cure/ alternative. The public should be informed.

  • I'm very interested in the biology of the human body and what kinds of items we consume that our bodies were not meant digest. Cow's milk is for cows. It is NOT designed for human physiology. Cow's milk is designed to help baby calves grow quickly and acquire a great amount of mass in a short amount of time. Cow's milk consumption in humans does the same, but that's not a good thing for us. The only animal milk humans should consume is human breast milk and only as an infant.

  • Great to pass on that info...love Megan xxx

  • I just hope I can help others out there who may have hit a brick wall with doctors and advice like I did. My philosophy of life:

"Learn all you can, and teach all you can because you will never live long enough to experience everything yourself." -Me

  • funny, how i was just thinking the other day, how food has 2 have some outlet, or the grease from it n e way, and what better way 2 come out than the skin! LOL...i was just going 2 start cutting down on greasy foods, but now, i may overlook my entire food intake, and c if that stops my breakouts. Thank u soooooooo much! as i am now getting ready 2 do some researching myself!

  • That's very true. It most definitely does have to go somewhere, and that place for most people is the skin. The liver gets rid of the great majority of toxins/garbage the body can't metabolize, but I found out the hard way it also removes a lot through the skin.

I think fried food in moderation (and cooked in the right oils) are okay, but excessive eating of garbage only worsens every organ of the body over time. I've been doing a lot of research too. You should post a vid about what you find.

  • I have to pay more attention to the milk thing. I don't normally drink it but occasionally I have a Starbucks hot chocolate-was thinking about having one tomorrow morning. I'm going to have it and see if anything happens. I often have little weird things go on and don't know why. Thanks for the info.

  • It was a real eye opener for me. I didn't start looking up this stuff until I had already figured out what milk was doing to me. I was simply amazed. I was reading all the information going, "Yes! That's what was happening to me!" Normally I'm terribly skeptical of everything, but I had experienced it so I knew it to be true for me. I just hope I can help other people figure some things out too.

Let me know what you find out about your Hot Chocolate!

  • wow...I never thought about milk allergy aside from lactose intolerance. I know I was reading about the hormones we put in our own dairy and why Europe banned our milk and swore I would only drink soy from now on. But didn't know this stuff started up to.

  • Yes! There are SO many things a milk allergy can cause. People now days are taking so many medications to "control" things that can be "cured" by simply removing the allergy that causes them. That's why I hate doctors. They're never interested in "curing" anything. They simply just band-aid problems and figure out a way for you to live with things to keep their pockets lined. I'm sure many doctors already know the effects of milk on some people, but just keep it to themselves.
