@ForceRecon198 It's not that hard to get tnt. just make a mob spawner tower or trap, and if its small, it should take a couple hours and it will give you enough to make 6 - 10 tnt a night

also, to get sand easily, I suggest you look up the sand duplication bug, and to get sticky pistons for this bug, look for videos on how and where to make slime farms. Hope this helped.

@flusher84265 Thanks, sounds like a lot of work though. I'll probably build some sort of mob trap eventually, just trying to figure out a design I like. Also, nothing can beat going into the wild on an early minecraft morning to go creeper hunting. XD

@ForceRecon198 lol. Here's a good video on how to make one. Skip to 15:00 but I suggest watching the whole thing. He's my favorite youtuber. He say to build it 20 x 20, but after a cut in the video he apologizes and its actually 22 x 22. The only down side of this build is that you need lots of material. @Anime2GW Well, it's meant to be a kind of mass-artillery thing. The person getting killed isn't the device's operator (the guy who hits the TNT): it's the guys that get ambushed by the arrows that get hurt, maimed, or killed.

I always had a preference for the villainous "self-destruct" button hidden underground outside the base. Someone takes your main base and you can't get it back. Dig up the button. Laugh evilly. Push it. Watch in awe as the entire mountain you dug your base in disappears in a near atomic explosion. Mock the now dead thief.

its not really a trap if you took red wire hooked up to a pressure pad that would send electricity to the tnt so you world just have to step on the pad and before you no it BAM! a bunch of arrows in your face

With that in mind you might be able to replace the third top block with sand for (theoratically) the same effect

@natur96 Arrows shot act just like dropped items. They will last 5 mins of a player being in a nearby chuck and then will despawn. So there really is no way too keep them there except going quickly to another part of the map and even then its kinda useless.

You could make a huge tower with an obsidian top to place this trap on, then wire the TNT with redstone and light it from your bunker to arrowstorm the whole map :D
