Barbara Kent was the last survivor of all the girls 0:50. She passed away on 13th October 2011. RIP to one of the very few survivors of silent era. :'( :'(
a cat of bryan? wow!!! he's so cute. also a cat lover when he was young. and me too, but i have only 2 dogs left now since the cats hear where verry fun of going out and live in our house and now they're gone.
Totally awesome is QUEEN. Even from back in the late 60s when they were college buds playing ORIGINAL rock music at frat parties, local pubs & whatnot...in fact, QUEEN is the ONLY rock band that can boast that ALL 4 members are actual college graduates, majoring in music which, explains THE GREATEST ROCK BAND OF ALL TIME. Sorry but, it's true - the Stones, Zeppelin, Boston, Rush - you name 'em - NONE of them can compare to the virtuosos that are QUEEN!! Only the Beatles can MAYBE come close!
@jatrius ~ thanks ~I stand corrected ~ but, the fact still remains that due to their higher learning at such an early stage in their careers only added to their talent, gave them a clearer understanding of our universe and, I believe gave them an early edge in their musical abilities.

Wow. Beautifful. I would also love to propose a toast to the photographic artists who captured these images of these ladies. They caught them so well that, even after all this time, they are still gorgeous and keep inspiring us to strive to be more than we think we can be.
I've only watched one movie of Barbara Kent, 'Flesh and the Devil' released in 1926, the fragment of her praying to God for preventing two friends from a duel touched me.
I was around 11 years old and playing LL baseball at Mexican Park when this song came out, known as Magnolia Park in East end Houston, Tx., a section of proud Houston called 'MAGNOLIA'. Many of my friends were killed there and I still recall them.Little Johnnie killed in the back of a cab, Rudy Resendes stabbed to death, Manuel O. stabbed to death, Mighty Mike Vasquez stabbed to death, and white boy John, beaten to death. Their laughs and friendships is what I remember the most. in Peace
You are right, I am sorry. According to wikipedia, there are three silent screen stars still alive, who were adults at the time their careers started. The rest were children.

At the beginning of the song, when the piano is hears, one can mentally recite the following thought:
Memories, my memories
How long can you stay
To haunt my days
I think this lyrics should not be missed, they are part of the lyrics song

@LuisV77 when the piano is heard, pardon me...

The actress at 2 minutes 36/37 is Clara Bow - the original "It girl". She is also shown at 1 minute 55/56.

And there may be a few more.
