@Bacmaster Of course it's Walter, nobody could play like him. Disregard the Billy May next to the mic, probably just another attempt from youtube to hustle theIrtunes...everyone knows real vinyl is better!
@paulj0557 You know, I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong, however my brother use to play this over and over in the 1960,s and I was sure I was right. Thank you for ending this mystery. Now you could go to my newest channel "thebacmaster".
I was in the Army at Ft. Lewis WA in 1966. There was a DJ in the Tacoma area who used this as his theme song to start and end his show. It always makes me think of Ft. Lewis and Washington State when i hear it. Yep, you can even have good times in the Army.
Kids kids kids throw away your Justin whateverthe hell recor...oops you don't have any records. Ah' the world is safe for the next 45 years. Walter Wanderley lives!
So of all of these organs shown in this video only a couple will get you there on this song if you want to play it- The Hammond tone wheel organ is what Walter played on this. Walter's music is a clean Hammond sound and is easily accessible on many of the cheap used Hammond TW's you'll find on C-list. The T-300/400 series are fine.
This song makes me wanna bar b q burgers in my back yard patio that my wife lovingly hand made brought out to me werring a pair of heals and a summer dress while i sip a gin and tonic wearing some loafers a pair of slacks and a bowling shrit or smoking jacket mabe both. Love it!!
But wait a minute is this the real Wanderley or is somebody else playing? because if its somebody else, then this is a real good performance that sounds just like the original, very good.
Real cool video, showing all of those musical instruments! The electronic organ has always been my favorite, especially the Thomas organ! I love Wersi too and Lowrey organs! I have many organs, as I had just received a Kimball organ, so much fun to play on!
check it out our channel for more Walter Wanderley !!

It's Billy May.

@Doktorerna No Walter was his own creation that inspired the Billy May's of the world. True genius!
