  • YES we need him today more than ever and he would no doubt have some incrdible insights for all of us to contemplate/ fuck the comis that are around today most are incapable of any insight. love Bill

  • "Can I recommend some jugglers you might like?"

Sickest burn ever and that woman didn't even get it.

  • i like bill hicks and am not offended by what he does.i am sad he died :(

  • " I have wiped entire civilisations off my chest with a grey gym sock " :)

  • sorry stupid lady , but I WANNA THINK , AND SMILE AT THE TRUTH WE ARE LIVING IN ... By the way I live 20 000 miles away from America and I think Bill is not just an american hero, hes all the peoples hero... "....what do you want me to do , tickle them individually ?" LOL, RIP LEGEND !!!

  • Next census form fill out, in the religion section I'll be putting down: BillHickstianity.

(He makes a lot more sense than majority of the religions out there)

A voice that will never be silenced :)

  • I could never hope to identify a genius as a genius. But I can sure as hell respect one.

  • I do believe Bill was a genius but at times he did act pretentious. But I understood his intentions. But he did act patriotic. I don't know why he was deemed anti-patriotic. Bill did act like a madman at times but I guess thats what made him appealing to me. And yes he did revolutionize comedy. I'm doing what Bill told us to do: think for ourselves.

  • "Can I recommend some jugglers you might enjoy?" - Absolute fucking genius.

  • that woman is where i draw the line

  • Now you have Doug Stanhope...don't fuck it up america he's still alive

  • Makes me wish i was from England. I didn't ever think i would say that.

  • The Jay Leno bit is classic

  • I can't help but note that all the best artists out there are either virtually unknown or completely hated in America. I keep seeing this happen again and again, and wonder just what the FUCK is wrong with the country I live in....

  • @darkridr25 unknown, hated or DEAD.thank u bill for exposing and not being afraid

  • @darkridr25 I'm wondering the same thing, but I'm starting to figure it out. I think the answer is that MOST Americans are really fucking stupid.

  • the woman doing the hand signs just distracted me man....haha....i was just looking at her -what will she convey that??!!!

  • "What am I suppose to do? Go out and tickle them individually?"

Bill Hicks was an intelligent frivolous ass.

    He's my hero.

  • Bill Hicks is Jesus...END OF STORY

  • I knew it. MI6 killed him while he was in England; the motherland of eugenical, sociopathic, fluoridated, pieces of brainwashed germanic shit that make american rednecks look like ladies and gentlemen. Fuck you El-lizard-birth Saxe-Coburg-Gotha "Windsor" cunt whore child eating bent over globalist slave trading inbred tumor of humanity!!!

  • tho bbc woman's face during interview is absolutely terrible!

  • For me, I think that people react negatively because Hicks was so insulting.

Whereas, when I watch Carlin, I get this impression that he is ridiculing people out of love, almost in a reassuring way, with Hicks, I feel that he's ridiculing people because he thinks that they are stupid.

He adopts this moral and intellectual high ground, when any fool can see it's a level playing field.

  • @Jcolinsol

Only a fool would think so.

  • @Tessmage

Aye, I'd always rather act the fool, then play the king.

  • "His show aired uncut on national t.v. in Britain, an obvious impossibility in America." ...land of the free, home of the brave. Yeah, right!!

  • Fuck! Limbaugh was on air way back then! Damn! No wonder why so many mediocre-morons listen to his lard-ass and not to Bill Hicks!

    R.I.P. Bill

  • @VexT916 1988 the asshole Limbaugh went national.

  • Bill Hicks is a fucking HERO, a true hero that spoke the truth about the world. We need leaders like Hicks and Carlin, honest and straight forward. Rip Bill, the world misses you and needs you more than ever.

  • Itz really sad, he died so young....we need him now in todays world

  • @KphexTwin00 He didn't die young. He had his life, and you will have yours. And we will all have ours... short, or long.. we're all here.. :)

  • @KphexTwin00 That's why he (as many others) are dead and the world isn't getting better any time soon...

  • 8:32 translator translates Jay Leno's bobblehead

  • "i'll see if i can't completely dissappear and be a big star here"

    and look

    he did

and now he's a big star

    he was right

"the penaty of living" as carlin said

  • That British interview where they're telling him about where he should "draw the line"... The look on his face is priceless.

  • I like tinking

  • tinking is not fun it comes from satan himself

  • That was the best Jay Leno impression I've ever heard

  • LMFAO!!!! at the jay leno bit. ive never seen that.

  • I'm sure someone must have pointed this out already, but isn't it ironic that it has "uncensored comedy" in the bottom right but has bleeps over swear words?

  • @thedotpeople i want to hear him swear and say fuck such a shame he never said the word cunt :( it might just be my favourite word :)

  • @trock151 In the Chicago performance where he tells the female heckler to find a soul, he mocks her, saying, 'I'm drunk and I've got a cunt'. If you look up Bill Loses It here you'll find it. Or Bill Drunk Bitch.

  • That sign language woman earned her goddamn money that night

  • thanks for putting this up.

  • that interview that ends at 6:02 depresses the shit out of me ... those two people don't get IT .. they don't understand what he is saying. Yet what he is saying is the most logical thing there is. Sad .. isn't it?

  • Ah Bill's going for the Anti-Marking Market. lol

  • What a lot of people didn't understand about Bill was that he didn't give a shit what your beliefs were, nor did he expect everyone to agree with him. But he wanted people to make up their own minds rather than be led by others. If you thought it through, and still disagreed with him, I don't think he would've cared. But I think what pissed him off was people who refused to ask questions. They never understood that.

  • @donstuie BTW, I also work in marketing

  • the lady doing sign language is the fucking best

  • "I will *completely* disappear and be a REALLY big star." ROTFL!!

  • @UnoRaza and sure enogh that happened he died and now every one is "discovering" him

  • yeh, I wish "Jeanine Garofallo" would talk about Bill's disgust at the handling of Waco by none other than her beloved Bill Clinton and Janet Reno, also the bombing of Serbia, NAFTA and a host of other political moves. Fuckin hack.

  • for some great bill hicks stories told by ron shock, type in "the bill hicks chronicles" here on you tube.

  • "..I'll completely disappear and become very successful here."

---Well now he's dead and more popular than ever! Aint america grand!?!?

  • Still waiting on Joey Lawrence with that 9mm brownie.

  • does anyone perhaps know when and where the show at 9:30 was?

  • Its in West Palm Beach, Florida at a place called the Comedy Corner.

  • I love the lady that signs to the death during that brilliant routine

  • Adolf's Comedy Bunker ...

  • BILL HICKS AND GEORGE CARLIN 2 of the two greatest, smartest, wisest, and funniest people ever

  • @dallyson HELL YEAH! <3

  • @dallyson He seemed happier performing in England and in Australia than he ever did in America. They wanted to laugh AND think. What is the problem with Americans?

  • @dallyson I miss them both terribly every single day.

  • @dallyson carlin stole alot of his skits.. look it up.. every fucking comedian did

  • @MaTchBoOkPoEt

Yea, i think Carlin was inpired by hicks "Children are not special bit".

Hicks and Carlin are still the top two comics - but to call Carlin a theif would be crazy. Dennis Leary is a fucking theif but you can forgive Carlin, even if he did steal a couple of Hick's jokes.

  • @TheDerekdub course i forgive carlin.. his comentary far outweighs his comedy.. in the end thats what his comedy was..

rip george.. and bill.. they doing shrooms with jimmi... even though carlin never believed in the after life

  • @TheDerekdub Carlin and Hicks had different attitudes and acts. Hicks attitudes were different from Carlin. Carlin was far simpler and nastier than Hicks who was just brutal and in your face but also quite imaginative. Carlin's act changed in the 70's far before Hicks got known overseas.

  • @MultiSmartass1

Yea, well Carlin changed in the early nineties, dressing all in black and addressing the big issues, war, religion, abortion etc....He said so himself, the jamming in new york special was a turning point. The older Carlin got, the darker he became, just check "life is worth losing".

  • @TheDerekdub Carlin's act did evolve and included more politics in the 90's but Carlin made the big change back in the late 60's and early 70's from his clean cut humor to his so-called foul mouthed humor. That was the big move for Carlin. Also, his message was pessimistic whereas Hicks was optimistic.

  • @MultiSmartass1

I always thought Carlin was an optimistic pessimist, i think he was a realist.

He highlighted the many flaws of humanity in the vain hope that we would try to improve. He disconnected from the solipsism of humanity, he divorced himself emotionally, and that gave him the darker edge, it made him funnier.

  • @TheDerekdub I agree that he was a realist but I don't know that I would call him an Optimistic Pessimist. That's an inherent contradiction. That's like calling me a pragmatic idealist. Human beings are incapable of improvement-that's what Carlin's message ultimately was. "It's never going to get better" "Be glad for what you have" Take a look at "American Dream" clip on Youtube.

  • @MultiSmartass1

I realise that optimistic pessimist is an oxymoron but in Carlin's world that means that things will get worse for the better if you know what i mean, so we can learn from our mistakes. I've seen all of Carlin's work. "Fuck hope" was the motto.

  • @TheDerekdub Fuck Hope is right. I don't Carlin really cares at the end. he saw the futility to existence. The more you give shit, the less you get. Humans don't learn from their mistakes and don't wish to.

  • Well spoken.

  • @Whiran Thanks-I guess.

  • @dallyson could not agree with u more. hicks/carlin<3

  • @dallyson Well said.

  • @dallyson well said

  • @dallyson i think will pass a lot of time until americans will be aware about the big loss is the Bill and Carlin death... It's a shame that here in europe are not so known

  • "it's where you can draw the line". What a stupid woman.

  • 3:08 -- 3: 52 is so beautifully put, should put America to shame.

  • Best award acceptance of all time.

  • Dang, brian, there's only one guy here creeping me out! That's you by the way, I know you need these things spelt out for you.

  • brian, I cannot believe you were the fastest out of 200 million sperm, I can only assume there must have been some serious in-breeding along the way. Just check for me, is your sister married to your Dad?

  • bill hicks was a funny fucking truth teller whats up cant u handle the truth u muppet your the fucking creep shit head now fuck off why come on here in the first place fuck me man some people are fuckin stupid sheep

  • anyone know who that dumpster dwelling cocksucker of diseased jackals is a 5.10? I'd like to know so I can punch her in the face if somehow I happen to see her.

  • 7:21 Sign language for a Bill Hicks show that is great.

  • Look for "Bill Hicks Performs for Deaf Crowd" on youtube.

  • its great!

  • I'm loving the constant use of Radiohead throughout this.

    I miss Bill...

  • That woman was a real cunt. She represents everyhting that is wrong with america.

  • she didnt have an american accent, but she is a total cunt and i hate her. id love to punch her in the jaw.

  • I like to think im a bit like Bill......because i HATE stupidity and ignorance and the wrongs it creates in the word :|

RIP mate, your were the best

  • You're not alone.

  • i feel the same as tho i can relate to the man myself.

  • hahahaha, "we don't want to think!"

The answer to what's wrong with america

  • Hicks's riff on Rush Limbaugh is, in my opinion, his greatest gift to the world. No one has captured Limbaugh's creepy countenance better than Hicks with a few well-chosen words.

  • I wanna take a hammer and chizzle to that woman's face.

  • Waste of good tools, mate. She's obviously so thick-headed it wouldn't make a lick of difference anyway.

  • i do too, what a cunt!

  • can I reccomend some jugglers ? lmao.

  • my bird has wiped nations off her chest ;_0

  • this guy was incredible. he and george carlin had very similar material. both were great comedians. we need more like them

  • That woman interviewer was such a cunt....no self awareness - no intelligence...a fucking insult to Bill...I'm surprised he didn'nt rip her to shreds. Bet she is deeply embarrassed now...looking back.

  • What's up with the fucking stupid woman at 5:10?! Talk about NOT gettin' the point at all.

  • i was thinking the same thing mate

  • "They don't want to think; they want to laugh!"

Haha, uh, oxymoron much? That woman is a total asshole.

  • 4,000,000 actually.

  • From where did you conjure up that little tidbit of bullshit?

  • I can tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

  • I havnt seen him.

  • I think this is Hicks trying to give us a message right now.

  • If he is dead, it's such a tragedy. Why do all the great minds die so young? It's a pity.

  • didnt you hear him cause he reminded us that it was just a ride

  • How come every time a talented person dies, ppl come up with some fucked up theory about them faking their own death. SAME SHIT WITH ELVIS, since late 70's, well if that fat shit didn't die then he is dead as fuck now.

  • Leno is a slab of beef he sucks. BIll rules.

  • These people at 5:20 sitting on both sides of Hicks seem like two high school principals trying to change his attitude.

  • LOL.....the lady rubs her head...because her small, brainwashed, narrow minded BRAIN, is reeling! She can't even comprehend what he is saying.

Was that a little too harsh? LMAO!!!!

    ~peace

  • Don't want to think? That woman is a moron.

  • I know, it's sad...(lol) It makes me think of Jethro Tull's "Thick as a Brick" song**sigh**

  • actually that was a bit harsh. (shit..lol)

  • She is completely CLUELESS!!!

  • Lmfao imagine being the lady doin the sign language, having to do the part about Lenos brains exploding, that would be the highlight of my career of I had to sign language that.

Bill is with the ultimate creative being now, wish he could be here today though, however selfish a request that might be.

  • Most americans are still stupid as shit.

  • Stupidity is definitely not limited to america. I dont think most people are stupid either (that implies they are uncapable of learing). Just blind, apathetic and vulnerable to influence.

/I find myself in that condition more than ide like to be as well

  • Yeah, I meant apathetic. My anger turned it in to stupidity.

  • Call me uncultured, but what is the sign language for 'fuck'. just curious.

  • t(-_-)t

  • @5:04 "There are no lines, there are no lines i say erase all the lines" True words of wisdom! This man perfectly blended harsh reality with comedy that truly does make you think. This man is a legend

  • it sucks he's mostly understood and respected in america after his death. i wish i could have been there for at least one show. but too young am i.

  • Does anyone have the link to the video of Bill being interviewed by the british man and woman?

  • search bill hicks bbc interview

  • Most americans have stopped thinking...If you've come here to listen to Hicks, you are probably in the minority of "higher thinkers"..Thanks for these posts by the way...We sure could use Bill's presence now...

  • George Carlin is awesome also!!

  • wow "higher thinkers"

even if this is a reference to some bill hicks material it's still a cringe-makingly conceited comment

  • with a grey gyme sock

  • beaus your beautiful

  • 'when did thinking not become entertaining?'

  • And I'm surprised to hear what bill has to say about Jay Leno seeing as how Jay was the one that got him his first Letterman gig.

  • So what if he did? Like it was a big deal for him...

  • That hardly negates what Leno had turned himself into

  • I love that Bill had such a deep and true love for America. I hate that people that question the American government are seen as being "bad."

  • i love that the hearing-impaired interpreter did the leno head shake! lol!

yeah, there needs to be more of his sentiment in this world as a whole; things would improve immediately...

  • since when did thinking not become entertaining

  • since society doesnt' want you to think, therefore we're plagued, literally PLAGUED with entertainment that's soul purpose is to entertain you without conscious thought, saddening really

  • That Jay Leno bit is one of the funniest things we've ever heard!!!

  • when hes talking to those british people you can tell he's just trying to have a conversation with the guy because the womans too fucking stupid to bother talking to, she completely misses the point of everything he's saying

  • You're right, she's a dumb bitch.

  • She talked to her alright... "Can I recommend some jugglers you might like?"

  • 'An obvious impossibility in American.' The land of the free.

  • SLab of beef

  • hicks word spread far away, and hit me, a chilean teen, who always can learn something from his words.

also, hicks stole joyce's appearence on 5:03

  • hicks word spread far away, and hit me, a chilean teen, who always can learn something from his words.

also, hicks stole joyce's appearence on 5:03

  • bill hicks perfectly blends harsh truth with comedy. the best at it.

  • i love the sign language lady doing the the jay leno impressions at 8:33 with the head wobble from side to side. thats great.

  • Maybe he did dissappear and hes waiting for something that will never happen... for the US audience to be ready, but sadly most of us are still very blind.

  • thanks for posting this brilliant bill hicks we need u!

  • "When did thinking not become entertaining?" -Bill Hicks- Lets all make that a new universal quote in every society! I'm working on it. -Dave Serfozo/Alien Orthodox

  • Totally agree with you there, Erobeashema.

  • "He was so loud, he sure could yell, took a stand on every little thing.." - Tool, Eulogy.

    Awesome song.

  • Cool video. Bill was a genius and a visionary.

    Thanks for sharing.

Bill hicks might not be with us in body, but you can still feel his slow vibrations louder than ever, still a big part of the collective consciousness, "We'll miss him." MJK.
