  • hey dick munch! I assume that you live in the future or have an amazing fucking computer to run a CPU at 4400 GHz. its 4.4GHz or 4400 MHz. I know all these other retard humpers didnt catch that but to avoid being made fun of by the techy community I suggest a small change there.

  • @2BodyTrunk Cry me a river

  • Forget it mate the game is fucking awful, the lag is also on my G27 or even keyboard. Trying to play this game on a wheel with this lag is just horrendous and It has got the worst handling physics ive seen in a racing game. Played it for 5mins and just well words really cannot describe how bad this game is.

    Back to GTR2 i quess..

  • I have this game on my pc and I use my ps3 sixaxis controller connected to pc via usb. Terrible input lag just like in this video. But then i got dirt 3, and the input response is just perfect using the same controller, awesome game by the way. It's really a shame NFS shift 2 have this input lag problem, otherwise it would be on of the best racing games in my opinion.

  • Seems like a controller/HD-screen issue to me. Ever tried playing GuitarHero/RockBand on a HD-TV? Fucking impossible to calibrate the lag, has been a problem with some TVs forever. If you try a corded controller though, it would probably work like a dream. For my experience, Logitech's wireless technologi is... Less than decent. I have a cheap random x360 ripoff controller, with a cord, no problems at all.

  • @InZomnia365

    This is corded Rumblepad :(

  • @CygnusX1spa Ah... Then I dunno, maybe just a bad pad? :(

  • @InZomnia365 Nope,it happens to me with my Chillstream and my PS to PC converter with my PS1 and PS2 gamepads.

  • @CygnusX1spa same problem pisses me off so badly, especially when correcting the car. nfs is a peice of shit!!!

  • @CygnusX1spa does the same with my g27/xbox controller/keyboard

it makes the game unplayable for me :(

  • awesome, loved the video :D

  • lol at the emotive music

  • @HenrythegameMiz EA didn't even make this game you dumb ass Slightly Mad Studio did,

    EA PUBLISHED it

  • ahhaha owned the video man grats !

  • Fail @ freezing the video to make a point.

  • jajajaja suaaabe ps estas pero que yo xD

  • @ViZZionSxGaming must be the ones u use, cuz mine has a 10 milisecond response. you must be talking about something from 1865

  • @maoristereo okay it depends on the type of controller and iwas talking about the game not my controller.

  • I also use the Logitech Rumblepad 2, but beyond the problem of lag, it has no vibration. I tried using emulation (XBOX 360) but stops working after running a track.

  • @grdzero download the new rumblepad driver, i had the same problem with vibration............. ingame chose the custom gamepad then vibration and feedback to 100%

  • This video made me laugh so fucking much. It's hilarious because it's true! The game has been out for weeks now and no word from EA about a patch or anything at all. Absolutely shocking performance. This is the last NFS title I am buying.

  • I'm playing with a MadCatz 360 controller and the lag is twice as bad as this. Completely unplayable. I tried editing the XML files but nothing happened.

  • rofl at the music. at least you can play... barely. mine's unplayable with 15-20 fps no matter what settings i use on graphics =/

  • @xcarlowx me too

  • n1

  • @HenrythegameMiz i don't think Slightly Mad Studios (who developed SHIFT 2, not EA) developed fifa '11, so yeah

  • Thanks for posting this video. I wish I could get a refund for this crap game. :(

  • @SuperGuyincognito this games great.. :/ get it for console, works fine for me.

    You guys too picky.

  • @volcom1722 I already have Dirt 2 (PS3 and PC), F1 2010 (PC), Dirt 1 (PC), GT5 (PS3), GRID (PC), Burnout Paradise (PS3), and numerous other games. This is the worst racing game I've ever played, in terms of control. Once, they fix the controls, it'll be fine. Until then, it's a broken mess.

  • @SuperGuyincognito works fine for me. perfectly. :/ 0 lag.

  • @volcom1722 Post a video or it didn't happen. The same amount of lag happens on the PS3, just look around on youtube.

  • @SuperGuyincognito nooo it doesnt happen to me, i dont care what you say, because im enjoying without the lag.. lol :S i dont have a capture card.. and even i didnt post a video.. it still isnt laggy, because im watching the screen, its working fine for me and not you.. i dont care.. its fine for me.

  • @volcom1722 Are you on the Xbox? Maybe, the lag is only on PS3 and PC.

  • @HenrythegameMiz theres another file for specific controllers too, that you will have to change. and it could be a pc lag issue because this game is cpu hungry.

  • @akaivan I'm getting mid to low 40 fps on my comp, while it's not optimal, it shouldn't lag like this. The game recognized my generic controller as a custome gamepad, so I just edited that file. I dont feel the different at all. The problem is especially evident in drift mode, where you have to react quickly.

  • love the slow motion and music. That's how bad the lag actually is.

  • @awdrifter3

Yeh but how do you fix it on the xbox? Its a major problem across all platforms. Its a broken game and you can't enjoy it atall. It should of never got past testing with dodgey handling like this.

  • @spamburger222 I feel the same way. Editing the xml file didn't help me either, the delay is still there. I think this is deeper than that, EA needs to look into it and make a patch.

  • Please do some research before you complain about the makers! This is how you fix it!

    1. Open your Programs folder and navigate to \Electronic Arts\SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED\ControllerDefaults\PC

    2. Find the XML file that relates to your setup

    3. Right click on the file, go to Properties and UNCHECK Read-Only

    4. Open the file in notepad and change DampeningEnabled to 0

5.Save the file and set it back to Read-Only

  • a mi me pasa lo mismo ¿tienes idea de como arreglarlo? gracias
