  • I have wonderful memories of a field trip i went to there while in 4th grade in the early 1970's during the winter, i had the very best time..

  • Wy is it tahe last day of operation? Sad.

  • They might be selling the property and ripping up the track... :/

  • Awesome video Matt. I got video of Edaville this year that I still have to upload.

  • i thought that railroad shut down after the one that built it died in an explosion

  • @crazyrailfan152 - Nope - After Ellis Atwood died, his wife Elthea operated it for a little while, then it switched to the late F. Nelson Blount (Yes, F. Nelson Blount OF STEAMTOWN USA!) and finally to George Bartholomew, before the present owners took over....

Pity that Edaville shut down, but I think that it could've done better more as a stand-alone railroad than an amusement park...

  • @trainmaster844 The members who work for the Edaville hope so too when the railroad is bought soon.

  • Great ! Boy-o-boy, there is nothing like a good old steam train and great Christmas lights to put U in the mood for next year. I wish I was on that train, Thanks .

  • Excellent video, Matt. This looks like a really nice little railroad.:) The whistle on that steam engine is beautiful, and all the Christmas lights look great.

  • Awesome video!!!

  • Epic video Matt! Love how the whistle drowns out the stupid little annoying kids!
