  • Hey there. My fiancee is a T3/4 paraplegic (as of this past October). We were just watching your video and were wondering if you get any muscle spasms in your legs? His are CRAZY and he wouldn't be able to transfer the way you do if he were to try that.

  • AMAZING

  • Awesome vid bud, Im a T11 para so this is very helpful to me. Keep on striving friend. Take care, always

  • You have very good upper body strength, its good to see you're so enthusiastic with your exercises, some of my patients just give up and find it very hard motivating themselves. I'll show them your video to motivate them. Your progress at independence is amazing, I know it must have taken a lot of hard work and I'm sure you're proud of what you've achieved. Thank you for showing me why its worth being a physiotherapist!

  • I'm sending this to Nike TODAY! Awesome.

  • Very Good mental and phisycal Work!!!Compliments!!!!!

  • Great example...it is very helpful to see someone demonstrate these techniques, especially for people who are new to their injuries. Great work!

  • thats crazy i didnt know if i was able to do all those machines . i just joined a gym and im a T8 and im trying to figure it out.

  • For those of us with higher injuries or less ability there are many ways to get the same or similar workouts. Look around and see what works for you. Free weights can be difficult if you don't have much trunk control so stick with machines. Weight gain and low strength are a bad combination for a chair user so get off your butt, so to speak, and find exercises you can do. My cheap solution is find an old exercise bike, cut off the seat and stuff, put bike grips on pedals, put bike on table

  • hello im para from the mmr jab i just wanted to say its nice to see of what i can do :)

  • Im a T12 para what are some good ways for conditioning???

  • sei veramente un grande se ai fatto un cd con tutto me lo mandi

  • dude your awsome i hope i get as strong as you are .....

  • hey ur the man! before my accident i was a master at dips and pull ups. now i'm a T-7 para and its just to painful working out. how do u deal with the pain?

  • Sorry to hear about your pain. Having a spinal cord injury should not necessarily cause you pain. Therefore, you should have it checked out.

  • i know my friend is paraplegic to but once he broke his leg and he had real trouble it got infected and shit

  • AMAZING! People like you always encourage others who are in better condition that you are. Thanks

  • Dude, I'm able-bodied and he's not only in better condition than I am, but he's also he's in better condition than anyone in my personal acquaintance!

  • You treat your legs like shedded wheat. I was taught to be very careful with them.

  • I understand your concern, but the reality is that I am 23 years post injury. That means I have lots of experiance with the transfers that I do. I also ambulate with long leg braces regularly. Legs were intended to be used not treated like glass.

  • It's funny that a lot of people are SO worried about how we "treat" our legs. I'm a T12 and my doctor was worried that a cut on my foot might leave a scar. Man, You are an INSPIRATION though. I just joined Gold's 2 years post injury and it's the best thing I've done since the accident.

  • what do the c4-t6 and numbers like that mean?

  • They refer to the level of injury/paralysis.

    C=Cervical vertabrae (neck) 1-9

    T=Thoractic vertabrae (back) 1-12

    L=Lumbar (lower back) 1-4 ??

  • Oh thanks so much! i understand now. = )

  • Great!! Really strong arms, thanx

  • thats amazing im a quad myself c4-t6 and i would love to learn how to do that.. i workout 4-5 times a week myself but im limited to machines because i cannot transfer myself.
