I'm kinda burned out on this style of songwriting since so many people are mining it. The vocal is pretty strong. The guitar, to some extent, steps on your vocal, so you need to play quieter or sing louder. The guitar work isn't really up to snuff anyway.

You look real good and don't really need the guitar. Find a band and concentrate on singing.

Luckily for Hilary, this is just YouTube and not a record label audition. I don't understand how you can actually discourage someone from playing guitar. Sure, it's not flawless, but she's only been playing 6 months. Telling somebody NOT to expand their musical knowledge is just ignorant. I know you probably think it was constructive criticism, but basically telling her to just stand there and look pretty is bad advice. Keep pressing on Hil :)
