I know. Your remark is still embarrassing. That is, all other proxies agree with the AGW consensus. There are hypothesis why the tree ring proxies are not in accordance with the temperature readings anymore since the 60ties but no proof (yet). The tree ring proxies are simply dropped.

The medieval warming period (MWP) is NOT excluded. Not even in the latest assessment. What is changed is the accuracy. Most (originally all) proxy data for the MWP was from the northern hemisphere. And from that orginally most from the UK. That has changed! And with it the size and impact of the MWP as corrected for global impact. The MWP is still there, but less significant.

The data doesn't show conclusively whether the MWP was regional or global so they assumed it was regional, which is what's reflected in the graphs. Not even going to get into the legitimacy on relying on tree ring data to this extent in the first place but they sure made the left hockey stick look flat with admittedly limited data.

Inform yourself about how "Mike's nature trick" reshaped proxy data curves to match the measured temperature which previously diverged before the 1960's.

I know. Your remark is still embarrassing. That is, all other proxies agree with the AGW consensus. There are hypothesis why the tree ring proxies are not in accordance with the temperature readings anymore since the 60ties but no proof (yet). The tree ring proxies are simply dropped.
Other proxies, and multiple proxies, still confirm a medieval warming period. But more on that in my next reply...

The medieval warming period (MWP) is NOT excluded. Not even in the latest assessment. What is changed is the accuracy. Most (originally all) proxy data for the MWP was from the northern hemisphere. And from that orginally most from the UK. That has changed! And with it the size and impact of the MWP as corrected for global impact. The MWP is still there, but less significant.

The data doesn't show conclusively whether the MWP was regional or global so they assumed it was regional, which is what's reflected in the graphs. Not even going to get into the legitimacy on relying on tree ring data to this extent in the first place but they sure made the left hockey stick look flat with admittedly limited data.
But it's nice to know you've got enough integrity to question the FOI problems & the rest of the sad joke.

The question should be directed to the commercial firm that owned the data. After more scientific investigation and measurements with independent and multiple proxy data it showed that some other regions had a warming period as well. But on a global scale it was less dramatic. This was reflected in the LAST graph.

All individual proxies and all individual data is unreliable. Proxies and data is relaible only(!) when confirmed by independent(!) other data (a proxy is also data). That is why it took such a long time before we had a reasonable reliable picture of the past, within an acceptable margin of error. In short: This true for all data for all sciences.

That is impossible. That is not how science works. Having said this, AGW is proved beyond scientific doubt. What action we consequentially take is a matter of choice, not science. Implementing and executing any, all or some of these actions actions might involve a scientific approach again.

Scientists never exclude unknown factors. But the change anything else but human activity is responsible for the current global warming is, scientifically speaking, insignificantly small.
Science never deals with absolutes. That is the modest nature of the scientific method. It investigates as much sources as possible.

All around the world governments are imposing a carbon tax. But Star Scientific's Muon Catalysed Fusion produces NO CO2 so therefore NO CARBON TAX.
