  • this here is pure quality,,the guy is an animal,,,brutal and graceful martial arts

  • 真可惜,中國功夫都要被學走了,國內的一堆白癡還在內鬥,尤其是一群中生代的,想把老祖宗的東西推翻

  • @GyroZepplin it's because we are much better interest for that in this time! just that!

  • 好野!不過你嚇死個個師奶!Bravo ! But you frightened that lady ! Be careful !

  • cool its like real wing chun

  • Your an inspiration!!!

  • Ok wasn't sure what you were trying to say. And please out of respect do not say that my Sifu is not a real practioner of kung fu. I merely misunderstood what was being said. With much respect Thank you for replying.

  • I understand but The term "martial art" is only a western term. I'm not sure what the arguement is about if an arguement at all please clerify. Thanks for replying.

  • @MrAaronch In english, french or chinese, the kung-fu primary are for deffend yourself or other person, for save your life, and after, for philsophie. It's an technique of figthing, in the history the kung fu are invented for that. In the mind of western people it's for philosophie, relaxation or evry reson, but i repeat, primary, it's for deffend you and your family. If you practice in china the traditionnal kung-fu with a real traditionnal master, you can understand.

  • @MrAaronch Hi, you are really not right around all of China everybody use term Mouh Sat in cantonese- and translation from cantonese to english is war (martial) art.

And I understand exactely meaning of Jonathan. Problem is not about how we are calling our mouh sat. Problem is about concepcion of our trainning. If you start with spiritual things you will never get any result. But if you strat practise gung fu or mouh sat for fighting and try to understand this things you can get some spirit.

  • Kung fu is a spiritual discipline for the heart. It is not just physical,it is spiritual,It trains the senses and sharpens awareness as well as teaching one to express oneself truly to ultimately make one a better person.

  • @MrAaronch Yes we know, but in martial art you can see "martial". Martial is for war, for figthing. It's the first level before philosophie....

  • this cat is huge... love the broken dummy...

Is Li Yang Jian your Sigung then???

  • @SynS7ven No!! my sigung are directly lao siu leung! my sifu is the chief of the system

  • you know, this is a very kool style and all...

and you show defense againest traditional attacks....but what about fighter like Mike Tyson??

how would you defend his hooks and uppercuts??

I highly doubt you could use trapping againest him,as he would weave and bob out of it??

im curious,as I love the traditional arts

  • @Jumok420 You can pick the eyes, break the knees or Strike genitals, many situation, many defence

  • @fasanpakmeikune nice,that what I was thinking too....

I always go for the legs againest Tyson =)

sweeping would work well, againest him.....your an awsome fighter!!

Bak Mei looks the most functional of,out of all the traditional arts.....

my practice is decended from hakka styles as well.

  • I want to know why is there also wooden dummy in Bai Mei , do you guys do the same wooden dummy drills as in Wing Chun. By the way, very nice movements with grace. nice video.

  • Pak mei looks amazing, and you display it very good

  • And to do so would be discraceful

  • @jimmy Kung fu is not to be used in cage/ego fighting. The true meaning of kung fu is much more than sport or fighting.

  • @MrAaronch... tell that to the million or so masters whos bodies have been littered all over china and the world due to challenges extended and/or accepted becoz of stupid ego crap... infact, 'trial by fire' is exactly why bak mei is such a great style, from what i've learned...

  • charlemagne of kung fu

  • Out of curiousity, have you competed in tournaments using this style of martial arts? It would be interesting to see this style in MMA.

  • Woow... Very nice video! Cheers :) I like it. Nice editing! Nice Music selection!

  • That's gz!!! Congratulations from Barcelona!!

  • pretty good for a 6" plus dude his atleast 6"4

  • I'd fight him. I'd lie on the floor and bite his ankles like a rabid chuahuah.

  • @mrmofo08 ha ha ha !! you are a funny guy !

  • good to see proper use of circular dynamic motion through the fundamental principles of line, distance, angle and movement. how tall is this guy ?, i imagine that alone would make most idiots think twice, then again some people are just too stupid to know better, usually the young and dumb.

  • EXCELENTE, QUE BUEN VIDEO, QUE BUENA ESCUELA, GRACIAS SIFU

    de Argentina.

  • looks really, really good. i have always wanted to learn some bak mei,but no teacher in sight for me.

  • I would like to visit Futsan. Maybe I have an address?

  • nice video

  • you have to see PAK MEI //3 's video ....

  • is your line has "jing ging" like the hong kong branch has?

  • Looks like wing chun and choy lee fut .lol, just an observation

  • Jonathan tu as tout d'un grand. j'adore et j'adhère à ton style.

    Amicalement.

    Alain

  • soon an explanatory video of our style will be available, for ls people who do not understand.

  • O_O woha!

  • linyao1,yes,you're correct,there are two Pak Mei lines,the Guangzhou group's line,and CLC's line.

    There an old saying,if it looks like a duck,walks like a duck,and quacks like a duck,it's probably a duck.Can you explain why,九步推 以前 直步標指??

  • ok here is the deal. u are thinking that the two lineage of pak mei kung fu are clc and guanghzou group's line. i'm gonna to explain u sth: clc's line is divided in 2 parts, hk's line and guanghzou. The real other lineage is fushan pak mei. We don't have any link with hk's line but we are close from guanghzou group's line. Our system is unknown because this one is tightened. FAT SAN PAK MEI get is own strategy and a different "ging".

  • I started training in Bai/Pak/Bak Mei the same year this guy was born, for some reason, people like to latch onto the Bak Mei name. This guy should have pride for what he's doing and give credit where it's due,to the "Choy-ga".Even CLC gave credit to his other masters, and never hid that fact

  • what is your problem guys!!!there are two lineage of pak mei kung fu. are u too thick to understand that??!!and slubint if u don't like that video don't come here. as leolong said u are all forgiven to not understand the style...

  • I don't know much of anything about pak mei, but this video is amazing. I'm particularly taken aback by the breaking practice (tameshiwari in karate). I had no idea that any style of kung fu included that. Or is it just something this instructor decided to include in his curriculum? That said, I'm more of an advocate of Japanese martial arts, but I'd be interested in learning this style.

  • kranskyyy, slubint are absolutely right, this is NOT Pak Mei in any shape, other than the name of this guy's forms and the salute, after that,it takes a Choy-Li-Fut nose dive.Looks like good speed Choy-Li Fut.Sad,this guy got dupped,I hope he keeps looking

  • Look, I'm SICK to death of big macho crap. THIS IS NOT PAK MEI KUNG FU. Good fighter no doubt , but he should just go and train in SYSTEMA Russian Martial Arts, which would suit him down to the ground. WHERE IS INTERNAL POWER HERE??? BAK MEI IS an internal martial art relying ing on NO stance until attacker makes move, CERTAINLY NO NOISE except silent breath expulsion and DIM MAK points with EVERY strike. THIS A BLOODY DISGRACEFUL MACHO DISPLAY.

  • too all the guys who watch this video:

you are all forgiven to not understand the style but guilty to underestimate this martial artist. sometime, you need to try and feel his power to get the meaning into your head..

  • Stick him in the ring with an average boxer and he would be obliterated.

  • Everyone is like wing chun! Ip man! Movie! find wing chun master! I can kinda see a difference, however, i still do not hv any knowledge about this type of martial art.How Exactly does this differ from other kung fu styles? And y did the PM monk betray his own temple and was able to kill some of the best monks in the temple????

  • Theres southern style in there, but also a lot of what looks like choy li fut... It all looks good tho ;)

  • A BRILLIANT Martial artist duped by a con artist. NO Monkey chest NO round back NO sudden punches from the heart area, from a semi extended arm, legs far too far apart. This is just Karate with wrist locks. Mind you, I wouldn't like to have to fight such an OBVIOUSLY talented guy !!!

  • ok guys sorry but your vision of pak mei kung fu is totally wrong. this is foshan pak mei kung fu. he'd learn with the son of the art and you just don't know that lineage so you made a big mistake with your comment. stop talking about thing that you don't know and that you don't understand. by the way kranskyy if u are so strong put your own video then we can check it out...

  • i never said i was "so strong". lol. whats with the negativity? i dont see you telling us anything about "fushan pak mei". tell us what you know please, dont make comments without being more specific. i offered you details and justification for mine, now please do the same, i am interested to know more about fushan pak mei! so tell me : ) *slubint is getting the idea, you know your stuff mate. where do you train? who is your sifu (lineage) ? peace pak mei brothers.

  • Incredible speed and flexibility!

But I don't see any Pak Mei ???

  • i have also never seen "breaking" demo's before.

they are not part of the traditional style of pak mei. they are show business, vagabond tricks, used by martial artists to create a spectacle. they use such demos to help promote a style or a school and impress the uneducated lay person, they have no place within the fighting arts. you do not have to be able to break a piece of wood or a block in order to defend yourself, or kill an opponent. the two are separate and unrelated. peace brothers.

  • pak mei is a southern style of kung fu, and like most southern styles, the kicks are low. we do not turn our backs to the opponent to spin and generate power. the power (ging) is generated from the explosive elasticity of muscles. swallowing and spitting, rising and sinking are some basic core principles of the style. without going into greater detail, i must say that he is still a formidable martial artist. great to see the use of double dagger and even bench in the demonstrations!

  • he is still an awesome martial artist (with whom i would love to train some day), who has incredible speed and flexibility for his large body type. However, the speed in his hands is not supplemented by his body, and his strikes (although powerful) are still not as powerful as they could be if he was applying traditional pak mei principles of monkey chest, tiger back, body tilted forward, bringing shoulders forward and sinking into strikes. Principles of rising and sinking are foundational basics

  • kicks within the pak mei style are also aimed below the waist, unlike what you can see at 0:54

this kick resembles choy lee fut kicks, which use the spinning movements of the body and hip twisting gyration to create speed and power. although alot of this is definately pak mei, it is not pure and he has either been taught a hybrid style of kung fu or has himself adapted it and incorporated techniques/principles from other styles...possibly due to cross training.

  • 1:00 - 1:09

that is not pak mei, that is closer to choy lee fut. pak mei is a front fighting style. principles include: *shoulders forward, elbows in, short explosive movements. although it has some circular movements (borrowed from lung ying), they are much more minimal. it does have some side strikes, but very few. its an aggressive forward-moving offensive style. please keep in mind that there is also many different lineages within the style (eg. fujian), so there are many differences.peace

  • C'est quoi la musique s'il vous plait ???

  • kranskyy i hope that you are joking?!sorry but you don't know anything about real pak mei kung fu.

this is real pak mei guy so take some information before saying crap

  • Absolutely !!! :)

  • alot of this is not actually pak mei...however, it is awesome kung fu!
