Hannoi- it's popular to bring up Hitler as not blonde. He was Austrian. As for the other Nazis, please consider whether their ancestry was Southern German. The Nazis wanted to unite a Germany that was cut up regionally. They tried to reinforce nationalism but in reality, there were regions. A majority of Germany is fair complected.

Germans are not nordic as much as they want to present themselves to the world. They are not as much tall as they claim. I have been to Germany many times and there are a lot of germans with light black hair and brown eyes who don't have a turkish or south european grandfather but are pure germans.

im from north dakota,and germans from russia make up half the population.

I learnt that they preserved their language so well that, when they cam over, they spoke very old german, and still speak the exact same way today.

so,in a way, germans in north dakota speak better german than germans in germany!

some of them are russians they married ethnic germans and most of these people are very bad examples my family came to germany 8 years ago and my parents already spoke german of course with a old german dialect

I have seen old footage/photos of Volga Germans they look dark haired. As most came from Swabia, Alsace and Baden-Wuertemburg. Those who settled in Ukraine were from Northern Germany and Southern Germany. Read From Catherine to Khruschev or any book on German colonisation in Russia

what do you think a average german looks like ...i lived in germany and the average german came across as no diffrent from these people you see....i saw alot of black small statued germans in the south and the middle part...you also see blondes in the north but to think they germans look all nordic and shit hahah dont make me laugh ...youll get more nordic blondes in poland or northern russia on average then in whole germany

However, your right. Southern and Central Germans are not nordic more Alpinish like the Swiss.

Some of these Russian-Germans in this video are mixed. Most Germans that use to live in Germany were Volga Germans who came mostly from northern Germany. Yet, most in the video show no signs of being fully northern German.

@Hannoi you don't have to be blonde to be a nordic. you can be light brown haired. but as long as you have nordic features, you are as nordic looking as max von sydow! example. just look at arno friedrich who plays football for germany. he is as handsome as they come. but isn't blonde. he has light brown hair, ice blue eyes and is the most handsome man you could ever come across.

The video is a bit one sided. Many Russian Germans integrate well. But of course, also they are exposed to societal problems like unemployment, poverty of elderly people, and so forth. I would want anyone to feel more compassion for each other.
