I don't know if they should be hung, but rather accountable. Using a taser is nothing other than like using a firearm. It is lethal force. And, more often than not, it is used as a pain toy by police, and to torture, which is unconstitutional, and that is fact. If you don't believe it is, then get tased, and then post a reply.
Tasing does or can cause death or injury.
This "compliance" word wears me out. Think about it, if you don't "comply", you get tased ...... hummmmm ......

@lightningbeam Its deemed unconstitutional to tazer someone for non-compliance. You may only use a taser if your life or someones life is threatened according to the higher courts.

@briank383 The constitution protects the citizen in this case from torture. The ninth circuit court ruled in cases like this and we all know where the line is with taser abuse. The case is clear for most of us, but you seem to need reality breast fed to you. Please read a book, something with words in it.... Big belly officer, one hand holding taser and the other on his hip.... sounds like a tough job controlling crime!

Because the police service is a service not above the law. The reason we create restrictions on police, is to make sure we have a fair system. The police are trained to speak, negotiate and reason with people, but as we see more often then ever.... tase them and ask questions later.
That's why people are dying. How hard is it to think?
Did you see them taser that guy in diabetic shock or the guy with the speech problem or the guy in the wheel chair, the deaf guy is my favorite..... etc....?

anyone that uses a taser on anyone should be HUNG. I just seen more then three people die in OHIO from cops tasering people that all shouldnt have been. THis has to stop and banned. go back to the old days. chase or nightstick. Not electrocution

You don't understand why police are not allowed to hurt or kill people and why we have laws protecting citizens? Police are generally uneducated, they don't know the laws as well as the common educated citizen. Your no different and I hope some cop crosses your path and tazers you, for fun.

Even when the officer is convicted, most of the other members get away with a slap on the wrist. The police need to be held accountable and just because you've decided to be a retard from the land of stupid, it doesn't mean we all need to ignore the problems.

Most citizens are good honest citizens and yet we have 2% of our population in jail. You don't need to have a high IQ to realize this lady wasn't a threat.
