This opportunity was like a gold mine of information, but the interviewer chose to ask the most inane questions. I like how Lady Gaga makes her music, I like her performance art, I like how she honors her fans, but sometimes, I just don't like how she treats certain interviewers. She has a double standard. In interviews with big names like Barbara Walters or Ellen DeGeneres or Anderson Cooper, she's all decent and tolerant and vulnerable, but to other interviewers, she reacts differently. Babara Walters asked her direct questions too, such as whether she has had sex with women, and she answers them

I think Lady Gaga doesn't understand that not everyone sees the world in such a different light as her, so when people ask her certain questions that may be direct, she takes it so offensively and reacts in a snobbish way. Rolling her eyes? "I'm not even gonna answer that question" ? How does that correspond to the fact that she wants to not generate hate and wants to use a Ghandi approach to peace and equality (Fuse interview) when she has abrasive qualities the moment people don't get her?

Obviously, Gaga isn't going to give others the satisfaction of whether or not that affected her badly. She isn't arrogant, if you see her in other interviews its a very comfortable setting where she discusses how she's been influenced and how that widely affects her creativity. Fame hasn't affected her and how she sees the world at all.

i think the interviewer dont know Gaga's very well. its one of the mistake she did when interviewed big artist like Gaga: ask typical question and shallow.
About Gaga, iam quite surprise she was arrogant and snob to answer, because she did nice in ellen degeneres show, oprah, and others. This supposedly be a lesson for other interviewers of Gaga. watch out your question and know ur source well dear fellowwws :D

The way the mainstream Asian interviewer implied the hermaphrodite rumors were negative--thereby suggesting sexual deviance is "negative"--was certainly out of line with LG's stand on sexual diversity, and LG's respnse was appropriate. I liked her eye roll at the end LOL

@ 3:19 to the end, she reminds me of a childlike person the way she fidgets in her chair, and her tiny voice and the way she looks on and off at the interviewer. She's a ball of energy (and possibly annoyed from the interviewer) waiting to be set on fire.
I don't think the interviewer was intentionally trying to annoy GaGa. I just think it was the wrong place, wrong time for her...and wrong questions.

I've seen Gaga in hundreds of different interviews and you can ALWAYS tell when they start to bug her, she just loses interest and zones out. lol. OR, she can be so passionate about what she says and genuinely care and show so much of her. You just have to be the right interviewer. (and maybe not as invading as this one...)

@pkcb17 - No I don't think the disdain she has for the interviewer is race-based at all. Just the interviewer is badly researched, not even slightly dynamic, and a bit flat. GaGa probably has 10 interviews a day, and gets a bit sick of the same questions.

Some interviewers just don't know how to deal with Gaga. They ask the stupidest questions, I mean, "How do you feel about the rumors, like the one about you being a hermaphrodite". Seriously, bitch? Do you really think she wants to talk about those stupid rumors? I've watched a lot of Gaga interviews and the best ones are the ones where the interviewer is truly interested in Gaga's music and art, when you ask her about stuff she cares about, she lights up and she's the sweetest girl on earth.

Why would you ask somebody with a mind like that how the rumors make her "feel"? Get down in to the nitty gritty and dig in to her art forms, the things she is most passionate about! This opportunity was like a gold mine of information, but the interviewer chose to ask the most inane questions. It's like asking Andy Worhol whether he likes color, or asking Freddy Mercury if he enjoys performing - some things go without saying.
