sometimes it's not the bike, it's the rider. I had a ninja 250 able to keep up with 6's and 750s in the country. In the city, my light 250 ninja was more agile through corners and was able to accelerate quicker than a 600. It's the top end speed is what a 250 lacked.
You do feel like you are gonna die, even at 60. For a time. Busas are awesomely fast and awesomely stable. 90 on a normal bike feels like 45 on a Busa. You can ride one handed, siting up, at 90 on a Busa with total confidence. Like I said, feels like 45 mph on a service road.
When you dip into it, 160 is glass smooth. These are not heroes, it's just the bikes are that good.
140 is nothing on a busa. You can accidentally hit 145 merging onto the interstate. It comes quick.
It's not that riding 2 wheels will make you a better rider, but in the sense of being RESPONSIBLE, you either live to ride another day, or are sent to the ICU to let the doctors play god for a bit. And no, going 133mph isn't responsible and I highly no that, but seriously, to the amount of MILFs that just pull out, to the seniors/asian women turning with no signals, I mean seriously, I'm doing 133 when NO ONE is in front of me. I couldn´t go past 225km/h on my SV. but with my old 93´ 750ccGixxer at 259Km/h (160mp/h). both with about 120HP, so I think that the SV´s V-twin isn´t designed for topspeed but killer torque and response at low and mid range. that bike almost flips if you twist the throttle all the way at the light-sprints. ;)

@T0H0E0G0A0M0E amen to that, especially with the 2008 and newer busa's that got the bump to 1340 cc and (i believe 190-something) hp.... its down to skill and rider size... both are incredible bikes, and dirt cheap compared to some of the italian bikes (aprillia, ducati and bimorto)

@T0H0E0G0A0M0E amen to that, especially with the 2008 and newer busa's that got the bump to 1340 cc and (i believe 190-something) hp.... its down to skill and rider size... both are incredible bikes, and dirt cheap compared to some of the italian bikes (aprillia, ducati and bimorto)

i agree it depends of the rider, both are similar bikes, i beat a lot of zx14 with my busa in the drag race, i'm still undefeated, i also have a zx14 i love it, i think that the hayabusa had too many restrictions when came out to the market, that allow to kawasaki bring with the zx14, but i don't need a faster hayabusa, not yet.

Very non scientific,load of Twats really,from whatever side of the fence you sat on.Personally,I've never derived much fun froma straight road anyway,That's kind of an american thing,look at my Awsome bike,not look at me,my skill with my bike around such chellenging things as hills,corners,using brakes.etc.You need to get down the drag strip in a car really.(If you got the balls!)
