Just thought I'd mention...

#1-In broad terms Giygas can never be happy. Emotions are what killed him in the first place.

#2-Giygas could never call anyone, or even speak a language for that matter... When his power grew to an alarming state, it destroyed his brain and could only act upon instinct

#3-The last 'friend' Giegue or Giygas has ever known to have had was Porky Minch. It was soon after that Porky could travel throughout time and Giygas could no longer think rationally->World Domination
