There are scientific standards that need to be used. That's common sense.

I can't walk upto 4 random people, ask who they're voting for in the upcoming Republican presidential primary, then determine that if 3 of 4 say Michelle Backman, that Backman is leading the polls with 75% of the vote. There are scientific standards that need to be used. That's common sense.

After all, they are created by humans, and the results are seen (and shown, obviously) from certain angles, which are determined by their own perceptions and bias. Science tries to find answers to things, which doesn't mean these answers are absolute and precise. Why do you think there are always scientists debunking previous “scientific” studies/statements?

@ka7hy I agree. One of the most brilliant mathematicians in history was Ramanujan, a poor 16 year old Indian boy born in 1887 who, with no formal education, was able to extrapolate theorums that baffle some of the grestest minds in the world today.
However, there is a genetic component to intelligence. That doesn't mean that smart parents will automatically have smart kids, but it's more likely mathematically. Children of financially successful people tend not to work as hard.

If you take an average MIT student, and an average Rhode Island School of Design student, chances are, the MIT student has a higher IQ and is better at math. However, the chances are that the RISD student is a more talented artist and probably more creative in other arts.Obviously it is a generalization, but statistically it would pan out more often than not.

Anybody can be skillful and posses knowledge, but very few are those with a high level of reasoning. You don't understand that because you are one more of the crowd. Mathematicians, Physicians, and other scientists who focus entirely on their subjects DON'T know how to do other things. For instance, if a person with no education comes and tells them lies to take advantage of them, they can very likely fall for it.

Their knowledge don't come from their own observations. Besides, when one possesses an extremely high level of intelligence can do well at everything. For instance, I have no training in arts yet I create wonderful artistic work. I don't dedicate nor give importance to a subject yet I can do better than most of those who spend their whole day studying.

For instance, I do well and much better than others at math, arts, communication, Spanish, dance, physics, chemistry, and even English (though I have been learning it just for less than two years) just because I put some little attention to it.
