I don't know why a stranger would go up to someone and tell them what they're baby is. I mean A LOT of parents want to be surprised during the actual birth.

I think that he went back in time.

He is the one that know or maybe knows the future.

Maybe he is the variable.

Desmond is Love and Hate.

And he changed the "present" of the scientist.

So he, in some way, maybe able to change or warn the people that were on the first plain, to no enter in it. I don't know, is just a theory. :)

I wonder who was suppose to pick Claire up? Was it the couple who were adpoting her baby or maybe someone else? It must be the couple because there isn't a Claire sideways view so we probably won't get to see who it is if it isn't the couple so I'm just gonna stick with the couple but it would be interesting if someone we knew was picking her up.

I just thought for a second that it would be cool if maybe there was someone other than the couple that was suppose to pick her up. Like how Minkowski picked up Desmond. Maybe Aldo (for example) picked up Claire to drive her to the couples house. But it had to have been the couple because Claire didn't know anyone in LA and they forgot because they broke up.

i think desmond is the key to everything! in the flash sideways he definatly knows aobut everything. the island, the fact that the plane crashed and he also knows about all the survivers. including claire and aaron. he also talked to jack on the plane in another flash sideways. for some reason nobody in the flash sideways knows anything except for him.

Well I'm guessing that he ended up winning the race around the world, and he's all rich with Penny's money now? That's why he has a car picking him up? I can not wait a week for this episode. He's my favorite character!
