  • Most likely they are not lasers. Lasers are invisible to the human eyes and travel at the speed of light.

  • can't choke data...

  • 0:34 Oh shit, the new Tron game!

  • "To hell with our orders"

  • Still by far the funniest and best SW vs ST vid.

  • Star wars ftw

  • Your damn right I did.

  • how do u make vids likr tht

  • Very well put together. Awesome job!

  • Vader fuck yeah.

  • Fucking butthurt Warsies, they can't handle getting their asses PWNED so they CHEAT.

First of all that only works on one person at a time, and IT DOESN'T WORK THROUGH SHIELDS-- that's they they call it a FORCE-FIELD!

  • @SouthParkBear Um.....calm down. It's a show/movies.

And yes you can use it on multiple people if the Sith Lord is strong enough.

  • @rambosteephens If it's Never shown, never happened.

  • From 3:28 is hilarious

  • Worf's head looks like a giant vagina.

  • You know that the Imps should could and would have destroyed the Enterprise if Vader had made this video

But Picard had to stick his shiny head in it

  • @TheKilBorne I don't think Vader knows how to use video editing software.

  • Fucking trekkies, god damned i hate them

  • @Saintironarm Please tell me, why do you hate Trekkies?

  • i have to be honest

this all seems a bit like Trek -wank

  • Very, very well done! I about fell of my seat while Picard downed the drinks.

  • Can anyone tell me what star trek episode this is from? thanks!

  • lmao facepalm

  • Comment removed

  • Data was the best part of this entire video. Great video.

  • @ThoixHeoro LOL!!!! this was ausome until that vader stunt!!! Date would not have been effected and would have taken control of the enterprise quickly....

  • I find that star trek is more believable, mostly because it takes place in a universe where earth exists

  • It's called tibana gas actually. But ya vader and the dark side would pwn star treck

  • @obiwankenobi511 Not likely. The Force likes light, not dark, and can one Dark Jedi take a whole galaxy?

  • @obiwankenobi511 You know Vader actually never pwned anyone in the movies. He got his ass kicked by Luke then threw the emperor down the shaft. That's about it. The rest of the time he walked around acting all badass but never did anything badass.

Q would wtfpwn them all :)

  • you pttiful fools star track nothing you have would mach the power of the dark side muhaaaaa and we use super heated tabaner gas wich is the same as molten plazma u fools hahahaha

  • @TheShockxwave Wutwuzzat?

    Spell correctly moron.

  • toe to toe we know who would win vader.

  • The Data laughing bit got me.

  • If Vader could kill people with the force like that across ships, then star wars would have ended very differently... He can't.

  • /watch?v=9em7DIK0Ajw

  • "Hold your fire? What are we charging by the laser now?"

  • Spock would have given Vader a mental bitch slap.

  • @supressorgrid Correction, Spock would have given Vader a logic bitchslap.

  • LMFAO That was great! I loved it when Data was laughing his ass off!

  • "Incoming message, sir. Code 47."

"Is there any nudity in it?"

  • Comment removed

  • Picard got pwned!

  • The ability to destroy a -ship- is insignificant next to the power of the force.

  • Comment removed

  • Now that was funny as hell!!

  • More plz:D

  • They are locking "lasers on us", lasers?

    XD

    Vat, waz sooo funny.

  • When exactly has he ever made a galaxy-spanning empire vanish? By far, too many people inflate his power to a degree which has never been witnessed by anyone. That is the utter height of wanking a character....

  • Soo who won

  • I was a star treck fan the i fuck your mom now im a star wars fan(;

  • Half of the problem with this vid is that Picard -- as always -- decided to TALK to his opponents. Had it been Kirk, the moment Vader opened fire, all negotiations would cease, he would've disabled the ship, beamed Princess Leia right into his quarters, destroyed the Star Destroyer WITHOUT ever giving Vader a chance to Force Strangle him, relieved himself for the evening, gone to his quarters, shagged the Princess, and then made his mission report and then gone to fight the Gorn. :P

  • @AllTerroristsMustDie Yeah he would have used his terrible acting to defeat vader

  • @HalfWereHaiti Whatever works. Kirk plays to win. Haven't you ever seen Boston Legal? His record is 4,000 to 0. SHAT ATTACK!!!!!

  • @AllTerroristsMustDie lol I like how TOS fans try to act like that was the best series, as if they're somehow trying to convince them selves that it wasn't a waste of time looking at that pathetic garbage budget bullshit.

Kirk wouldn't have destroyed shit; He'd have been too... busy... talking with delays, and

taking what seems like forever... to finish... even the simplest sentences.

Just kidding but I really hate old low-budget shit... even when it was new.

  • @AllTerroristsMustDie he would have beamed out the princess... through a Star Destroyers shields?

  • @trekkie117 What shields?

  • @trekkie117 If the shields cannot stop a fruity A-Wing from taking out their command ship, or if they can't stop asteroids (Starfleet deflector shields certainly can though), I highly suspect they could contain Kirk's libidinal urges...

  • @AllTerroristsMustDie Man, everyone gets hung up on what is displayed in either the shows or movies. I mean, why can't a vs just be fun and awesome? If there were ever a legit cross over I would hope that an Star Destroyer would still be a rather scary presence... Not as hopeless if the Millennium Falcon took it on, but still a daunting task.

  • @AllTerroristsMustDie

And then Kirk woke up in the Rancor pit waiting to be anal raped. xD

  • @KennethMoreland Pfft. He'd kill that thing with his hands.

  • @AllTerroristsMustDie Data wouldn't of been affected by the force lol, and would of fired all weapons and save the day. Lasers lol

  • listen here virgins! hahaha im j/k.

but seriously Star trek and star wars are both great! its just different takes on a genre we all love and care about. Star trek is great because its more realistic and it actually makes sense on how we end up where they are and star wars is great because its none stop action with light saber battles. look nobody can say what is better then what since we all have different tastes.

can we all just agree that Futuristic space movies are the best!!!

  • What a bunch of BS.

  • This was so cool. So well put together. I loved it.

  • Geeks fucking rule.

  • Is there any NOOODITY in it??

  • Check out this website, stardestroyer . net, for an objective view on both Star Trek technology, tactics, abilites, and how it would compare evenly with Star Wars (Empire vs Federation).

  • @fayt296133 No it doesn't. Its a clear Fanwank site that has few Star Trek references and overpowered Turbolasers based on no evidence: I've been there.

  • This entire video is inaccurate. While Star wars ships may use weapons called Turbo lasers they are actually self-contained plasma bolts that do 200 gigatons of energy per bolt minimal every 2 seconds. A enterprise shield only has the ability to withstand, at maxium, a few dozen megatons, meaning that one shot by a stardestroyer would be more 2000 times the amount of energy needed to destroy the enterprise.

  • @fayt296133 Kirk: I killed Zeus with a torpedo. Your argument is invalid.

  • @fayt296133 I'm glad somebody knows their facts about Star Wars! gees... this whole "Star Trek ships are superior" is getting annoying

Ps. i do love Star Trek, but fair is fair.

  • Anways Q is just one (indestructible) person... he would have to destroy the entire imperial fleet, which number in the millions (not including the 19000 star destroyers) before they razed the 150 measle planets the feds control (compared to the empires 1 to 12 million planets).

  • @elcap22, why the hell would Q help the Federation against the empire? He doesn't about anyone only his own amusement. He personally set plans that almost destroyed the federation more than once and had Picard solve it because he was bored? As far as he would be concerned, it would be superior humans (brutally) destroying inferior humans and doesn't involve them.

  • @MORPHIOUS1011, How the hell is star trek more realistic? They have alternate deminisions, time travel, etc... That doesn't sound real to me. Anyways star wars is in "another" galaxy, not the milky way: remember: A long time ago in a galaxy far far away?

  • @fayt296133 well if you believe in the big bang and evolution then star wars makes no sense. They would have to have been really fast at developing which i doubt or else they would have to be past regular human form.

  • @AwsomeTrekkie but they have phazers HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS SO NERDY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • why is star trek soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nerdy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @sandvichman327 so is star wars

  • @MORPHIOUS1011 A LONG LONG TIME AGO NOT A LONG LONG TIME FROM NOW

  • *yawn* energy output of the enterprise D 1.3×10^19 J energy output of an venator star destroyer (which is obsolete by now...) 3,6x10^24 J enterprise just produces about 1/276,923 of the energy the venator produces... :) that's like nuking a guy from stone age bye bye star trek - was nice having you arround :) as someone from the british guys said about the chinese fleet back in 18th century... 1 of your ship can handle their whole fleet! bwahaha :) raw facts rule
  • @JheakrynaKNERD NERD

  • If everthing from star wars fought Star Terk star wars would win with no lsses

  • @Philahall5 Thats only because george lucas said " i wanna bagilion ships the size of planets and just wrote that" when Star trek is more realistic because its in the future

  • @MORPHIOUS1011 Most of what you said is correct. In fact in a interview with G. Roddenberry Jr. SW vs ST came up. And G. Lucas reminded us that it's science fiction not science fact and you can make it the way you you want it.

  • *Shrug* Fire torpedoes!

  • lol data RIP

  • Also, Data could send the ship to warp

  • Massive fail. The Enterprise doesn't fit

  • riker: "you enjoyed that" picard: "youre damn right"

  • 3:22 captain picard is like "really is this really happening"

  • I'm with starwars

  • This is AWESOME!!!! Great job :D

  • And then the Imperium arrives to cleanse both galaxies in the Holy Fire of Exterminatus.

    Imperator Victrix, bitches.

  • Star Wars has always been better and it still is!

  • Star wars rules!!!

  • LOL at Data laughing at the lasers!

  • Roflmao

  • 3:21 FACEPALM!!!!! :)))

  • Anyone know what episode that is where they laugh at the laser weapons of the other ship? And the one where they're choking?

  • @scepticthinktank The part where Data laughs is from '"Deja Q'' and the episode of them choking is from ''Transfigurations''

  • @starwatcherusa Thanks mate, appreciated.

  • Great video.

  • Lol best part was Data abandoning ship

  • what about Q? Wouldn't Q just snap his finger and kill vader and destroy the empire?

  • @elcap22 because Q isn't apart of the federation? noob

  • @EPICT0ASTER i know that but this video is called Star Wars Vs. Star Trek, not The empire vs The federation.... and beside you could say Q is apart of the federation cause he wears the starfleet uniform frequently and it's been hinted that the Q continuum are actually highly evolved humans from the distant future....

  • @elcap22 Q lost his powers cus was being punished and he is now human

  • @NEXTGENCRAFTING yeah but that was in one episode, not in all the episodes Q was in, what's that episode got to do with this video anyway? and besides Q got his powers back in the end and when he lost his powers, he didn't lose his intelligence, when he was human, he had an IQ of 2005 so he could beat vader in a mind game, like a game of chess lol, anyway you do realize there is more than one Q don't you lol?

  • @elcap22 lol

  • @elcap22 why would Q give two turtle shits about the fight?

  • @elcap22 It is unknown if Q's powers are that great.

  • @NANOFORGE No, its not. He has watched humanity for eons, teleported planets, changed the gravitational constant of the UNIVERSE, and generally done things that would make Jedi go insane thinking about.

  • @Idazmi7 That does'nt mean Q is an omnipotent being.

  • @NANOFORGE "It is unknown if Q's powers are that great."

Yes, it is, simply put, and the show says he's omnipotent, so he is.

  • @Idazmi7 Quinn is a Q and he said they are not omnipotent.

  • @NANOFORGE All Q insist that they are omnipotent. Quinn committed suicide. There is a difference.

  • @Idazmi7 If Q commited suicide that proves that Q's are not omnipotent. Quinn was also improzoned inside an asteroid. You don't seem to know the meaning of omnipotent, God for example is omnipotent and could destroy the entire mulitverse infinitly easier than you or I would blink. Omnipotent means exactly what it means, all powerful and seeing that Ben Sisko punched Q and knocked him on his ass proves that he is not even close to being omnipotent.

  • @NANOFORGE "and knocked him on his ass proves that he is not even close to being omnipotent"

Q plays games that are meant to be won.

All Q are omnipotent: only a large number of Q can defeat a lesser force of Q, at all.

God is not in the Atheistic Star Trek, and God is beyond omnipotent as 'omnipotent' is represented in Star Trek.

Either way, Q is powerful enough to erase either Star Trek or Star Wars as a reality, unless he is stopped by 2 or more Q.

  • @Idazmi7 The Q's are NOT omnipotent, They are stated to be seemingly omnipotent but that does'nt mean they are. Not of the Q's ahve ever stated that they are all powerful.

  • @Idazmi7 Though I do agree with you, A Q is far more powerful that any jedi or Sith and he can erase either Trek and Wars from existance or both.

  • The Enterprise would never be able to destroy the Death Star. Star Wars rules!!!

  • And that is why we all love Data :).

  • I have to take the biggest shit ever right now.

  • Star wars

  • Very clever.

  • witch ep is laser's from

  • @borgCube100 The Lasers part is from ''Conundrum''

  • lol is there any nudity what was w/ riker O_o

  • the original enterprise could destroy the surface of a planet so imagine what the enterprise E could do

  • @godzillaisnuclea123 BUT ONE STAR DESTROYER CAN DO THE SAME THING ONLY BETTER

  • Picard facepalm FTW.

  • Star Wars ownssssssssssssss

  • LOL. This was awesome!

  • One of the best edits i ever seen ;]

  • That's bull. The Enterprise trashed the Star Destroyer. To me, that's a win for them.

  • Wow, awesome job! Looking forward to the conclusion! (I hope?)

  • Star trek rules!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @jeapiat star trek is fuck

  • @jeapiat Seems your Fleet has been strangle.LOL.

  • Star Wars >>>>>>>>>>>> Star Trek

  • @freeway996 Quite Ilogical

  • Is there any nudity in it? Any nudity? ....Oh....

  • "Despite its high efficiency, hypermatter still required massive amounts of reactant fuel to power the great starships of the spacelanes. For example, at peak power, the Venator-class Star Destroyer's main reactor annihilated the equivalent of 40,000 tons of matter each second. Even small starfighters required significant fuel supplies—the Utapaun P-38 starfighter consumed 6.2 kilograms of hypermatter each second at full power." As expected, the full quote shows that I'm right.

  • @Perion oooh your going to love this. ok this is from the RotS novel "The shining hairlines are light-scatter from turbolaser bolts powerful enough to vaporize a small town." powerful enough to vaporize a small town. seems a lot less than the north american continent vaporizing power from before... im going to give you the benefit of doubt and call hiroshima a small town. 67% percent was destroyed by an 18kt warhead. sooo im gonna say that the max of a turbolaser is closer to 27 kt

  • @MrVeruckt I've heard that one before, and again nuclear blasts of kiloton to megaton only reduce towns to ruins, not vapour. If you're going to take "small town" literally using real world standards (rather than star wars standards which are much, much larger) Then you're going to need to take "vapourize" literally as well, which means a hemisphere of both the city and the ground it's on to be vapourized, leaving a steaming crater. Which again, gives us numbers consistent with the CCS.

  • @MrVeruckt Besides sub megaton firepower contradicts on screen evidence of light guns having 7 megaton firepower, so your interpretation is invalid.

  • @Perion ok, well no there hasnt been on screen footage that proves 7 megaton firepower. you can geuss and speculate but in the end its impossible to truely know unless it is said on screen. once again im going to give you the benefit of the doubt. (hiroshima is not a "small town" in the slightest, with a population of well over a million) and give you a minuteman warhead with 167 kt youll get the results your talking about. The quote also specifically says "turbolasers" not light guns.

  • @MrVeruckt It doesn't have to be said on screen, only shown. The calcs from ESB asteroid destruction gives us 7 megatons, dialogue or not it's G Canon. Turbolasers are more powerful than light guns by definition, so they MUST be greater than 7 megatons. Anything less is a contradiction.

Again the ROTJ novelization quote is nothing new to me, nor is it evidence against the CCS. Also your constant use of the "Spell-it-out-for-me" DDT has always been ineffectual.

  • @Perion again, the density can only be guessed by other people. warsies can claim its super dense, i myself dont think it was that big of a deal, and regardless of everything else i would think that a quote from a movie novel has more wieght behind it than the CCS. so yes it is evidence against it. you say 7 megatons for light guns, well the books say high kt to low mt for turbolasers.

  • @MrVeruckt The CCS itself states that the fuel in the silos is "denser than the ship's bulk by many orders of magnitude"

The movie visuals say 7 megatons for light guns, book dialogue can be interpreted to say high kt. but since visuals trump dialogue then said interpretation is wrong. The CCS is consistent with the movie visual (7 megatons for light guns is listed on practically every capital ship)

  • @MrVeruckt Visuals are kind... esp the kind that show a fireship spraying water streams thru the air as if they're standing still lol I LOVE visuals!! LOL But many visuals arguments I've seen have flaws, no doubt. For one, I've seen ppl say the power of a blast that destroys a ship is evidence of the power of the weapon. #FAIL

  • @MrVeruckt Also, ILM gives the CCS their full backing. "They've taken the process that the concept designers started and painstakingly brought it to conclusion, filling in the millions of details we never had time to think about. In that sense, Complete Cross-Sections is the last chapter in the creation of the vehicles of the Star Wars saga." John Knoll.

  • @Perion and since when does ILM have any say in this, they arnt in control of star wars. lucas film is.

  • @MrVeruckt Are you serious? you do know that ILM is a branch of Lucasfilm right? They were the ones who originally designed these ships and vehicles and did all the special effects (which thus determines the observed, G canon capabilities, such as megaton scale Light guns and Gigaton scale Seismic charges) Which were approved by GL himself. John Knoll was the supervisor for the prequels and special editions of the OT (as well as a few Trek episodes and films).

  • superior lol that a joke right max phaser output = 50,000 TeraWatts ISD turbo laser output = 8 million terawatts of firepower.

  • @starknight97 Yes, and apparently maximum damage from turbo lasers is measured in kilotons. Phasers do alot more damage with smaller power outputs so superior in energy efficiency, superior in destructive potential, superior in refined versatility. Just all around better.

Both shows are campy good fun to watch but Star Wars fans trying in vein to prove Star Wars tech is superior have always made me giggle.

  • @Jermbot15 true but ships as small as treks would need to be more energy efficiency as like the corvette they most could be fit inside of a star destroyer. star war cannon don't come till after the second set movie for a scientist that reversed the process to she what energy would be needed to to do why they did. so that kinda shady too. that why if you want a fair fight cannon or popularity though at least get the sizes right lol

  • @Jermbot15 BUT ANSWER THIS ON QUESTION WHY ARE THEY SO NERDY EVRYTHING IN STAR TREK IS SUPER FUCKING NERDY AND HOW DO YOU NOW THAT IF THEY RUN OUT OF AMMO SO FAST A BLASTER HAS 100 OR 200 SHOTS SO YOUR FUCKING WRONG

  • @sandvichman327 Star Trek is nerdy because of its superior predictive power. Star Wars teaches us to expect a future full of telekinetic priests with laser words and cantinas full of various lovable rascals who travel to far distant worlds for seemingly no reason, stupid I know.

Star Trek teaches us to expect a future where nerds are supreme.

  • @Jermbot15 Star Wars teaches us that if you see Gandalf with a glowstick, you suddenly become the Chosen One.

  • You gotta admit though, a lot of these guys do well with what they have.

  • maybe nut then another glareing flaw data escaped cause they didnt read him as a life form.......or maybe vader is an incomptent comander dont get me wrong i personaly LOVE both franchizes and im not critiseing the franchizes im just pointing out glareing flaws to the creation of this :) and though it is good.....thats how people make better stuff :) keep trying ((why i said vader is incompetent is cause well he saw him on the viewer he should had reconized force not efecting him and he escaped

  • @canishunter Keep in mind that this video is a parody of the VS debate, by making fun of both Trek tech wank and Wars force wank, I mean the first 10 seconds of it is a bit of a give away.

  • i only find one OBVIOUSLY glareing flaw to the whole thing......data doesnt breath air and wouldnt been efected by the force in that manne
