Too bad the game doesn't work with all PS2 consoles. I wish they would have let me know about that before I bought it.

Research it online and you'll see that a lot of people have had the same problem with this game not loading on the PS2. I tried it on three different consoles and got the same results with each one. It gets stuck on the game load screen and will not go any further.

try putting it on its side. i'm not totally sure if it will work but i had the same problem with my god of war game. then i tried that and it worked fine.

I ended up exchanging the disc for another one and the new one worked without a problem. So I guess the first disc was just imaged incorrectly or something.

This looks so awesome for the ps2. Im gonna get it for my ps2 soon. and why are so many people saying its bad for the ps2? like really oh it doesnt have ghtunes, so what? and it looks mad sick for it took, just like any other system, ps2 still is awesome.

Yea but ps2 version its sooooo glitchy like: ive got an old ps2 Gh3 guitar, the Whammy Bar doesnt work on GH:WT with the old guitars, its just like the whammy its whammyin for itself N.N and also on ps2 version u cant play on all stages just the first one n the other dat iz like a boat floatin with 4 big white sparrows or somethin like dat. I Only hav a ps2 and i will never NEVER get a 360 =/ My parents never would ive to me they say its too expensive :S

i had it for the ps2 the whole band broke the drums snaped the pads on the drums the guitar strum bar would only strum up the microphone wouldend pick up on singing just he music only if u turn the volume off

hey guys i have an horrible porblem in this game 4 ps2. I dont have guitar so i want to play like gh3 gh2 gh aerosmith you know with controllers, but when i put carrer and all that stuff it says connect a microphne and i dont remember the other thing. What the heck i must do?

If you're playing this game with the PS2 controller, you can't play it because the gameplay requires you to have a microphone, a guitar, or a drum set to play songs. If you want to play the game further, then I suggest you can go to Gamestop(or wherever you get your games with), and return the game there, buy one that comes with the drum, the microphone, or the guitar, or just get the full band, whatever you want. I really hope I helped, but you probably fixed it by now.

No DLC, no playing online. But you can still play with people at your house, not as good graphics, but still pretty great, it's a little bit slower. but you can still create songs, and do almost everything you can on 360.

The graphics are amazing. I love my copy of it. And yes, you can use your old guitars. You can also use the new guitars with GH1 and 2
