The easiest way to get a hook is find a woodworker to make you one. That's what I've done through the years. Annie's Attic has a crochet nit hook that works, but you have to make the afghan in two panels. They have the pattern book for it. Jenkins makes Tunisian hooks, they might make a special order.
Thank you for sharing. I having hard time to find the big double end croche hook. I found only the clove but the small one. sizes I-5.5 and J-6 but not 14 or 17inches
