  • Guys, it's the head coach of the Lions, the dirtiest football team ever. Just watch their first game against the Saints this season if you disagree.

  • I'm a die hard/life long 49ers fan, but. Harbaugh shouldn't have slapped him on the back. It was a childish, but most people doubted the Niners. At that point the Lions were undefeated and were the clear favorite to win and it seemed that Schwartz thought so to. But the Niners won and Schwartz acted like a sore loser.

  • Schwartz is a little bitch stamping his foot on the ground like a little school girl. Facts don't lie. He loses then blames the refs. Harbaugh laughed it off. Schwartz should get his little cross eye'd checked

  • He tried this with Coughlin and Tom gut punched him because we all know that CA is all about slaps and shit. East Coast is about gut shots. Harbaugh fell down on his knees and went "A 90 year old Coach Fucked me up!" Weak. NIners fans wanted to sell their season tickets in week 2 after losing to the Cowboys, so you Niners fans are FULL OF SHIT!

  • Harbaugh was too excited. He chest bumped a couple players on the way to Schwartz, screamed fuck yeah and slapped Schwartz on the back and pushed him aside. Its fine to be happy about winning a game, but why did he have to super excited about beating us? It wasnt a playoff game or a tough divisional matchup. Dont tell me you wouldnt have done the same thing if that happened to you if you were in Schwartz's shoes

  • fuck all lion fans

    u guys just jealous..

  • @ThePapalouie123 fuck you niner fan. you guys have the one of the worst sportsmanship of all fan in the nfl behind the raiders and cowboys

  • Harbaugh smacked him on the back in a very disrespectful manner. he also cussedh im out. Schwartz was right to respond angrily.

  • that was kind of unsportsmanlike and douchey of harbaugh, but schwartz should of kept his cool. To harbaugh, come on man, act like you've been there before.

  • The 49ers coach was filled with excitement because he won. He shaked Detroit's coach hand, in a sportsman like matter. The Detroit coach was mad because he lost. Poor sportsmanship by Detroits coach. A little on the 49ers coach also. But, never start a fight like that on national television, talk about it on the press conference.

  • @iHonda25 are you fucking stupid? stop acting like the smack on the back didnt mean anything. stop defending harbaugh and sugar coating the fact that his hard smack on the back was a "sportsman like manner".

  • head coaches deserve a little more respect with the after-game handshake. Celebrate, jump like a monkey with your boys, but then when you two get close: stop, look the other coach in the eye, give a nod/backslap/handshake/whatever, walk away, skip a beat AND THEN act like a monkey again...don't do that kind of shit Harbaugh did. that's just disrepectful. Schwartz was too hotheaded and overreacted. should have just walked away from the monkey.

  • Harbaugh made a rookie mistake by not acting professionally and being too psyched about the win (name me one other coach that jumps around like a maniac after winning.)

Schwartz made a mistake by overreacting

Everyone else made a mistake by acting like it was a big deal.

    Case closed.

  • Jim Harbaugh is NOT a good Sportsman! The whole season he behaved like crazy to the other teams.

  • @weeyumm1 exactly, it didn't even look like he hit him that hard, he didn't have enough energy stored up in his arm, Jim S was being a baby.

  • Karma comes back to Jim Harbaugh, 1/22/2012 :-)

  • @ Buffered Williams, u are ignorant for your comment. I shouldn't even comment back to u but had toooo....... I can tell that you are educated!! LOL!!! What a dummy..... LOL!!

  • Jim H. had no ill intention with that pat. You can tell he was happy about the game and his mind wasn't there. Jim S. was probably upset about the loss and took the pat on the back wrong.

  • im a lions fans.. and i think they both acted like babys.....there

  • ha ha Ok little bitch I'm done with you NEXT....

  • Would you let someone disrespect you to your face? I would have came after Harbaugh's dumb a** too. He didn't do it on purpose but I'm glad Schwartz checked him.

  • @coolissublime schwartz checked him?.... harbaugh would wreck schwartz in a fight lol

  • @jason113388 haha no way! harbaugh is a wiener. He'd be all like "man, hold me back, hold me back..." I love how he always covers his mouth when he talks on the sideline- like someone's actually trying to read his lips.

  • @jason113388 lol quit taking harbaugh's dick down your throat. schwartz would level harbaugh. he has balls as you can see by going after your gay ass fucking coach

  • I think they were both wrong. Harbaugh should have been more respectful, even though I don't think he was trying to upset schwartz. After the handshake, Schwartz should have have just walked it off. I see a good rivalry in the making.

  • trick question, they're both wrong

  • LOL THATS NEVER GONNA GET OLD. IM A NINER FAN FOR LIFE MAN LOL.

  • Good analysis. Harbaugh wasn't rude, but he was hardly sportsmanlike, and Schwartz should have just left it, though I can understand him being annoyed by the less than respectful handshake and back pat

  • They are both at fault to a certain degree. Jim Harbaugh overreacted and acted like a 10 year old who just won a pee-wee championship. And Jim Schwartz was a sore, pissed of loser.

  • you are so biased

what about how jim schwartz celebrates after he wins a game

and how he behaves during a game

  • I think Jim is WRONG

  • I am from Detroit and wanted them to win but this is my first time seeing this and Detroit's coach is completely wrong here, the 49ers coach was very excited to defeat an undefeated team and in the midst walks up shakes the coach's hand and pats him on the back in a sportsmanlike fashion be it an enthusiastic hand shake and pat but the lions coach just didn't like losing and responded ridiculously in my opinion!

  • This is RIDICULOUS. Clearly, Schwartz overreacted to a manly pat on the back. Harbaugh was excited, wouldnt you be if your team beat an undefeated team??? Schwartz basically sunk to a losers level and reacted like a little kid by getting offended...talk about poor sportsmanship.

  • @Msgreenluver77 Why Dont u shut UP!!!!

  • how DARE Harbaugh shake his hand hard and give him a pat on the back! How DARE he celebrate a victory! I mean, what kind of coach celebrates a victory with his players? that is classless! He could've seriously injured Schwartz with that shake!

  • @fucker661 you're cute but i can tell you've never been a real athlete

  • ur a dum ass harballs did that on purpose because the lions were undefeated and he was being an ashol like you and smacking his back pushing him out of of the way. like get the f outa here. thats bs and he needs his azz beat for disrespecting another coach

  • get your dum ugly face off the screen and show the video ashol

  • @mica122213 He did.

  • hahaha. what the hell?? What are we robots??? shaking hands now have to be in certain ways? F**k That!!!!! acknowledgment between the two is good enough, the truth is you don't even have to shake hands. If you don't like the handshake screw U!!! Now if you going to react like an idiot thats your bad. there's absolutely no issue on that. he should be glad he wasn't ignored by harbaugh. what a nerd!!! lol

  • It was a handshake, & a pat on the back.. nothing news worthy. lol

It may have been slightly on the rude side (rude at the most it was just rude), but come on get over it.. not like he completely ignored him, he just shook hands, & moved on.

There was issues during the game that made Schwartz a little more ticked, but nothing about that handshake warrants all this fuss.

    It's football not politics.!

  • Schwartz did the right thing. You don't wait and get Harbaugh later. You address it now AND later. Any guy w/ stones is going to address it immediately. I'm not a Lions fan, but I'm now a Jim Schwartz fan!

  • @terptek lol ur a psycho like schawrtz!!!

  • and yes I speeled it that way on purpose to keep w/ the slang which translates to "dummy." If I said "wienie" it would have meant he's a schmuck.

  • JH's been a coddled, glorified, arrogant fballer since before he set foot on Michigan's campus. It continued into the pros, and it's not going anywhere. He's an arrogant prick, and based on a comment made by a country club member's daughter I caddied for, a little weinie...just sayin'

  • harbaugh acted like he just won the super bowl it was a big game but niners made so many mistakes that if done better would of crushed those kittens take a win like a man dont act like a cheer leader

  • Jim was wrong in the way he behaved and should conduct business in a more professional way.

  • @TheUsman2000 LOL!! professianal way? bwahahahaha, what are you a robot or a dog, when someone tells you to sit you'll sit?? hahahaha!!! foolish!!!! maybe you shouldnt watch professional sports bcos all these professional athletes act like children. these type of coaches/players is what makes the game even entertaning!!! don't ruin all the fun now. let them be emotional, its an emotional sports thats how it should be. that schawrtz is just a sore loser thats all. hehehehe!!

  • @MrPorschecarko1 Jim who was wrong dip-sh&t. Read my comment and maybe you will find the humor. GO PATS!!!!!

  • i think schartz was right. even harbaughs brother the coach of baltimore said hid brother has, learned a lesson. empathy.

  • shocked by these opinions...its clear to wise human beings that harbaugh has always been a jerk...to think otherwise means still worshiping your high school bully...that smirking non apology is proof...no wonder why michigan denied this ignorant jock admission to grad school

  • whaaaaaaaaaa......i'm ary baby bitch whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haa!! You MAD BRUH? LOL

  • hahahaha....u mad schwartz?

  • Schwartz was being a child. I've seen middle-school students who can deal with insults better than that. You should be able to have a little self-control by the time you reach that age and you should have a lot more patience and self-control than the average person if you're a coach on a professional sports team. I'm rooting for Detroit to have a good season (Giants fan) but that behavior is just inexcusable, no matter what.

  • I think they both handled the situation poorly. Harbaugh manned up and blamed himself in the later interview.

  • It was just a an overly ecxited handshake and a pat that hit a sore spot

  • you trippin zennie

  • Niners bitch lions coach is a pussy lion!

  • Let's not forget that Schwartz this year alone has shown a lack of class during and after his team's wins! He taunts opposing players, use of language toward officials and that stupid ass fist pump! Your team lost, now wear it and move on, baby!

  • Harbaugh!!! Go Niners!

  • well............all I know about this issue is what i see in your video....and I see a pat on the back....and then a guy goes nuts.

Thats about all I see......and so i dont know why a guy would go nuts over a pat on the back.

    Too hard a pat?

I mean, if a guy is mad that the pat was to hard?...Then he better stay off the field.

Because his own players are playing a game where they take a pounding, and you cant handle a pat on the back?

  • During the game there was the catch by Crabtree that he had a foot obviously out of bounds, and the Harbaugh challenged the play. Schwartz yelled towards the 49er bench "Learn the F***ing rules". Schwartz is known for taunting and cursing at other teams. Bottom line: No1 is right, however if Schwarts would have walked away, and handled it better (press conference maybe) this wouldnt even be an issue. Harbaugh said he acted too intensly, Schwartz said nothing about his doing..

  • I don't think Schwartz did anything wrong at all. What Harbaugh did is wrong. He comes up to him running, grabbed him so hard, that it looked like he was trying to rip his arm off, not give him a handshake. Slams him on the back. And kind of pushes him out of they way, like you said, as if he was done with him. It's supposed to be a respect thing and Harbaugh showed absolutely no respect.

  • Harbaugh was wrong in my opinion because It's the pros not college, act professional. You know your team gave the Lions there first loss don't act like you're waiting for confetti to come down.

  • It looked like a pat on the back to me. I don't really know why Schwartz chased him down. My only guess is that he was mad because the 49ers ended their perfect season. I do think Schwartz was at fault because he could of just walked away. Harbaugh did take the blame during his press conference so kudos to him. Its possible that Harbaughs old antics came into play, nobody knows what he said to Schwartz. I'm a Steelers fan so no, i'm not biased.

  • @ntfd125 I agree with you here. While I am a Niners fan, I don't ever rubber stamp bad behavior. I would love to see a video cartoon of Schwartz just walking by after the quick hand-shake. I look at it this way, at least he did shake his hand!
