  • Good vid but the crickets were really getting on my nerves...

1, you don't have that much time to PX, you only get 2 minutes per lane. i understand the vid is to demonstrate how to px, i'm just saying.

    2. when you do px always come down onto the target, i.e if the tgt is 25yards start off with the px ring at 30yds and come down and STOP when the image is crystal don't go back and forth.

  • @Mondymad Greetings Mondymad,

You have a few false statements based upon most American FT matches. First, you do not have two minutes per lane but five (match dependent). Still not familar with PX or how it relates to focusing. Second, you do not just stop when the image is clear. In a match you range find a few times to see if you were correct. My friend, and two time national champion, states he will range fine two to four times to be sure. You are on the right path though.

  • @Avveduti Your lucky to have 5 mins per lane, in the UK its only 2mins once your eye comes up to the scope. PX is parallax, you call it focusing but PX or parallax is the technical term. PM sent about the image clear part. (scope dependant too about that, try a nightforce and you'll ubderstand) plus 2mins you don't have time to px several times..

  • Thank you for this great video

  • this really is alot of fun ;)

  • whats the song at the end?

  • Interesting,

  • love the vid, i bought a set up aa400s nico sterling scope with paralax wheel, i have the scope set for 15 meters but im lost now as to how to set the scope properly ? help ?

  • @feiz01

    Greetings Feiz01,

There are several things you need to do first. However, what are you trying to accomplish? Setting up the for FT or just setting up the scope in general? I am about to make a video about how to setup your scope for FT. That may answer your questions. Let me know. :-)

  • @Avveduti hi there, yea, im hoping to get the gun and scope set up for field target, so far its set up for pellet on pellet at 15 meters, however ive heard this will work up to 25yrd (apparently) but i dont know for sure, i have heard there are two settings required up to 25yrds then up to 55yrds.

Also not really understanding exactly about the zero, cos mine prob isnt zeroed correctly, sorry for sounding like such a newb, but i am new to this lol.

  • @feiz01 You will have two zeroes dependant upon scope height usually between 22 and 29 yards, zero at the second then all diallings will be upwards.

No such thing as two settings, each range has its own dialling ie 20 to 55 yards will change by the yard, so if dialled for 35 you will be well low at 45 or even 55.

Up to zero ie short range this will have a rapid rise, so someone been telling porkies.

  • Nice vid i like what you did with the tape. where did you get the mount for the camera

  • @miketheknife2

    Greetings Miketheknife2

I found it on e-bay. I actually got the idea from Ted. It is pretty easy to use once you get use to it. :)

  • @miketheknife2

    Mike,

Youtube will not let me post a link in the comment. So search for EdgunUSA and he has videos describing his setup. :)

  • @Avveduti Thanks i have seen some of his vids good stuff.Shoot safe my friend.

  • @Avveduti He is the king, but what shall i type in for the range find in the upload search bar??

  • Excellent video bud. Made it a bit easier for me to comprehend.
