  • "Somewhere she's just gotta go but can't afford to stay..." That really nails it.

  • Thanks for posting this, it gave me strength to go on another day, I'm kicking the heroin habit, it's tough but I can relate to this song.

  • @jack887 I hope you are doing well. My best friend's daughter died of a heroin overdose, very sad to see her fall apart and tear him apart

  • Elizabeth Cook is as close to my idea of a perfect woman as you can get. Sings like an angel, lovely, sweet, funny, and feminine. She's also tough and can cuss like a sailor and she's not afraid to get dirty. I listen to her every day and even when she bitches, you just want to smile and pinch her cheek. Ahhhhhh Elizabeth Cook....

  • having lived my own version of this song I can only hope it's not a song you've lived but I know the lyrics are too honest for that hope to be real. Music really is personal therapy. Wish I could give you a big hug.

  • Elizabeth holds me to the heart of her songs,as painful as some are, Elizabeth's smooth cords drifts my mind away. You know she is a miracle already happening.

  • Abuse from parents is the cause of addiction. The substance is nothing to do with it. Alcohol, drugs, foods, it is just an excuse for the pain of abuse from parents.

  • @warriorprince1010 , if that were only true.

  • @kofblz It is.

  • Like my brother was a heroin junkhead and always stealing from me to buy his dope. He even tried to pimp me to some asshole friend for dope. I got sick and tired of his bullshit and paid off one of his junkie dealer friends for a hot shot. I left it around the house and he disappeared. I never saw him again.
