@wesgrosscustoms I've got a question for ya. So I decided to spray paint one of my Genesis controllers a month ago (inspired by your mods, btw) and it turned out great--except it still smells like, well---paint! How do I get rid of the smell?

@theneutraldoctor well it will eventually go away, but you could put it in your laundry basket, or put it in a box cover it with newspaper and spray some febreez SPARINGLY on the newspaper and close the box for a week or so, that should do it! but with all my products, i just let them sit out in the open air and the smell goes away in about a month or two!

Nice man. I had a model 2 I started to paint blue too but well.... heh. Yeah I put it in the oven to dry quicker because I was all impatient. I had it on the absolute lowest it would click on and thought it wouldn't hurt the plastic if it was only in there for a minute. Well it came out looking like the book of the dead. Damn. That nice metallic "Sonic" blue just looks best on the model 2 Genny.

O I whish that would be possible. But postage back and forth from the Netherlands would make the cost insane.

Of course I would be willing to fork down some dough for a properly modded model 2 Genesis (I only have European and Jap/Asian megadrivers). Cost of console, cost of materials, postage and my eternal gratitude.
