i had this done to my original xbox back in the day, but we also switched the hard drive to 120gig...i had ahook up in my car, I got the unlimited game rental pass. so i would sit in the blockbuster parking lot ret 4 games, upload them, go back in, switch them for 4 diffrent games, upload then, and so on...it would hold like 18 games, 5 movies, and 5k mp3's if i remember right..it was pretty impressive at the time

my xbox is moded and it is really cool because i have to hold down the power button and then it goes into moded mode but i can still have it normal... and This dude made programing for me so I have a new dashboard and I can play nintendo 64 games and all the older systems even over 4000 arcade games thats right 4000 and 9000 games over all the systems and they are on 2 disks

The aladdin modchip allows you to swap between the modded side and the unmodded side so i can play Xbox Live. but i wouldn't really care becuase i got a xbox 360.

Well done, man. I've had my X-Box modded for about 5 years now and I'm still finding new things to do with it. I just put a 250 gig hdd in it, so I have like 100 official X-Box games on it, some unreleased ones, a crap ton of emulators and roms, lots of ps1 games...and Xbox Media Center, if you haven't looked into it, is the best app you can put on the machine. You can stream tons of media directly to the box from the internet or your PC over a network. Flawless app.

... To let everyone know, Modding of the box is NOT illegal. Having games on the hard drive (xbox, and roms from older systems) IS if you do not own an actual retail copy of the games on the drive. Check your copyright laws.

Selling an XBox with games on it, however, IS illegal and that's where the sentencing comes into play.

You can use the slayer 2.7 iso burned to a DVD-R and do a automatic setup with an upgraded hard drive you can select from the startup which dash you would like to use as it includes all of the good ones (EVOX,UnleashX,Avalaunch) for drives over 137GB you need a supporting BIOS and from what I hear you lose live functionality permanantly as the Xbox Dash/BIOS will not support a drive this large.

you would have to rip the xbox bios from the original hard drive...because with out the bios the xbox won't read that drive.
