It's hard to believe this is 100% European in origin. In modern day, Asia is given all the credit for refined unarmed martial arts, when in fact historically, Europeans had the most highly refined grappling systems. Why this has gone so unnoticed until recently I don't know. I was *very* surprised when I learned of Catch Wrestling.
@diamondcalves "Unrealistic"? This is pretty much straight wrestling, breaking down the opponent this way. You'd get roughly the same instruction from, say, Wade Schalles. Adding the submission is easy, once you drill it. This stuff happens very very fast. At the very least, you'll have the guy out of turtle, and set up for any number of chains.
@diamondcalves Unrealistic? How many times in MMA have we not seen a guy turtled up covering himself? it is because he does not want to fight anymore. But there are times a fighter wastes his punces trying to hurt a turtle opponent and then he loses. At leaset here you know how to submit a turtle up opponent. The key is to apply the hold so fast he does not have time to escape because he is tapping out from the pain of his ligaments getting torn up.
He is so freaking HOT
