  • I can't get my shit to sound as...I dont know, full. I'm not sure what I am missing

  • @Jdunnuck bass?

  • Why don't you start out in ters rather than quinta?

  • I have 2 questions:

1.Can I run VST plugins easily on protools?

2.Does protools have pholiphony after touch? I mean can i run symphonic choirs word builder on it? Thank you

    btw your works are great

  • @llArminAkhlaghill

    Hi

Yes you can run VSTs on Pro Tools you just need to use a program called Fxpansion VST to RTAS. You can read about how to use it on my website, (link in description).

You can run symphonic choirs and word building in Pro Tools too!

    Cheers

  • Hi Dan, overall do you think this Plug-in is user Friendly because I've been researching about this plug-in for awhile now. I wanted something amazing and easy to use. So what do you think?

  • @Metalunited101

Yes it is totally user friendly, you can pretty much install, load it up and you're away.

  • now im pretty sure that this will be my next plugin ;D

    good job

  • The name does not correspond to music.

  • hey sometimes my projects sound a little muddy when using EWSO, do you eq only in mastering or do you eq during mixing?

  • @IAmMichaelMyers

Mainly if eq-ing needs doing then i'll do it in the mix and when mastering just tweak the overall sound with a bit if necessary

  • well, it's unfinished. the percussion intro seems cool until the strings come in almost like a lazy parody of a sloppy cartoon. hardly the fighting spirit. there are elements that could be developed, try to make it have some momentum. the piece lacks a center or theme. you have decent sounds to work with, now put the work in.

  • what'd you use to record this?

  • @nusua

    Hi,

I used Pro Tools 7.4 and East West Orchestra Plug in

    Dan

  • Great!

  • I am thinking about buying EWQLSO, are those drums from the library or are they external?

  • @InfinityEnterprises

    Hi,

THey are from Stormdrum, a great drum plug in!

  • hiya. great work. What sound/software have you used for that first percussion hit? its exactly the sound i'm looking for.

I also write cinematic music. take a listen if you get the time. thankyou

    Ali

  • *Drools*

This sounds very real. Very real. I need to get this.

    *Drools a bit more*

  • I was just wondering if you write in music or just write through the programme.

  • I do a bit of both really, this piece was written just using pro tools but at the moment I am writing a few piano pieces on my piano

  • JESUS CHRIST

  • your website has not seen new music for a while, hows that going any luck selling or getting contacted on your work?

  • Reverb & pan your percussion and crank their volume a little.

:48 turn up the inner horn solo

    5* listening again!

  • you are a good symphonic composer (this is my favorite of your videos)... i have tried to do my own but i find it dificult to get something diferent

  • Thanks very much. just keep trying until something works!

  • Great composition! 5/5* I like the changes and the ending is really cool. Keep it up!
