Doesn't matter if the game series is aged, it doesn't affect the outcome of how the music sounds (although one may argue that it might create nostalgia). Not too burst your Bubble but Platinum games Developed this game, Concept and everything. Sega only supervised the development. they didnt really do much except present and release the game. Well, They atleast made a good choice with presenting it^^ i hope sega hires them for future bayonetta title :3
@jimmycooling No they did a BAD job. The PS3 port is absolutley terrible. Not because of the system, but the ps3 port had several problems with frame rates and the graphics look noticably worse. If they did a good job then, they would have fixed all of those problems. The frame rate problems are very evident further in the game.
@darth612 Well according to GameSpot, Platinum Games did not handle the PS3 port of Bayonetta, which would explain why it sucked so hard in comparison to the 360 port.
But yes, the 360 version is of noticeably higher quality.
Sure, they released a patch for the PS3 users that significantly reduces load times and stuff and lets you install the game to the HDD, but the 360 version is still superiour by far.
fwi guys jeanne is an umbra witch therefore her entire outfit is made out of her hair, the outfit she wheres here is on top of her "final" outfit that you see during the last fight against her...(its a white version of bayonetta's)

@Ryok333 Jeanne is unable to use witch time with dodge/dodge offset/etc, yes. But it's possible by using Moon of Mahaa-Kahlaa, Bat's Within or the Bracelet of Time :)
This is a fucking awesome game. People who complain about Bayo's proportions don't get that Bayonetta is basically just Kamiya's wet dream as the heroine of an action game. He has such a hard on for the character, that's the reason she wears glasses and has long legs and everything else. It was just Kamiya bringing his ideal woman to life.

You prove a good point. They prolly age, but Jeanne probably kept her self the same age so she could be recognized by Bayonetta to get the right eye. But yeah, I'm pretty sure the Lumen sages gad something to do with Jeanne's aging process.XD
She wasn't possessed, she was brainshed after being captured. In the beguining we see her in a plane hunting some affinities, I think it may have been a trap to capture her.
On another note, do the Lumen Sages necessarily control angels? Or do they just support them. I've been wondering that. That'd explain to me why Jeanne's allowed ti kick there asses, while she's brainwashed.
Don't think so, I guess since Balder was the head of the operation they had to follow his orders for the time being. I think it was Sapientia who moked him when Bayonetta asked about their "boss". I also think Jeanne is fighting the brainwashing, that's why she's so mean to the angels even tho she's working with them.
Now, about Jeanne's plothole, if you are interested, here is my excuse/theory: I think the one witch history says to still be alive is Jeanne, since she sealed Bayo away to protect her there was no way for anyone to know that Miss B was still alive, and since Jeanne was the heir of the Umbran throne I think she is badass enought to stay alive for 500 years, maybe eternal youth is one of the powers of the witches, or maybe they just age veeeeery slowly.
I think they can manipulate age periodd. Seeying as if they age tat slow, Cereza would have to of been growing up for a while...So I think more age manipulation then aging slowly.
Maybe that why they have to sacrifice angels now? In orther to keep their youth they must sacrifice angels or else their demon sponsers are going to take their youth away, and since they are over 500 years they'll turn to dust and go to hell.
Well if Bayonetta supposed to be dead, Hell would want her. So I think the angels are what's keeping them satisfied. more like she's has some fun staying alive to stay on Earth. Jeanne's prolly just joining the fun. but if Witches live forever, then Hell's missing out on deaths. So the angels make up for them staying immortal.
That sounds right, but Bayo isn't supposed to be dead, again she was simply hidden from the world. I'll go with 'keeping the demons satisfied', after all they sold their souls to their demon sponsers for their powers, so hell must be crazy to get their souls already, there is where the angels come in, to keep the demons distracted and buy them some more time. What ya think?
Of course. It's proven they can die of natural causes. One, Bayo diesm she's killed by angels, but they are just using weapons. She can also get hit by trucks and cars in the Route666 mission,Which can kill her.
And when Bayo thought Jeanne got killed by the missiles, even though she knew by then she's a witch. Of course I meant on immortal, on an aging sense, LOL, You don't really find main characters that can't be killed by normal stuff, like swords, and cars and explosions>XD
Actually, it doesn't really look like they can die. Even when you get a game over screen : Bayo isn't dead yet, she's just knocked out, choose "No" and you'll see her wake up and struggle when the demons drag her to Inferno. Much like the Virtues, who, even after getting the most severe beating (heck, one of them even gets decapitated), they don't die, they just get weak enough for the demons to take a hold of them, it's probably the same for witches, immortal, but demons' targets :)
Well, I know one. Dante from Devil May Cry (also made by Hideki Kamiya) who's been impaled 6 times throughout the DMC series, and he survived through all of them. But in gameplay terms, he can still be killed by natural causes, so yeah.
@CrossoverWars Dante can also die by unnatural causes like being eaten, immolation, neck snapped, bled to death, beheaded, stuff like that. DMC1 Fatalities ftw-- I mean, ftl. >_>

Well, after you finish the game for the first time you can unlock costumes for Bayo and Jeanne, two of them are a swiming suit and a two piece.

You prove a good point. They prolly age, but Jeanne probably kept her self the same age so she could be recognized by Bayonetta to get the right eye. But yeah, I'm pretty sure the Lumen sages gad something to do with Jeanne's aging process.XD

She wasn't possessed, she was brainshed after being captured. In the beguining we see her in a plane hunting some affinities, I think it may have been a trap to capture her.

On another note, do the Lumen Sages necessarily control angels? Or do they just support them. I've been wondering that. That'd explain to me why Jeanne's allowed ti kick there asses, while she's brainwashed.

Don't think so, I guess since Balder was the head of the operation they had to follow his orders for the time being. I think it was Sapientia who moked him when Bayonetta asked about their "boss". I also think Jeanne is fighting the brainwashing, that's why she's so mean to the angels even tho she's working with them.

Now, about Jeanne's plothole, if you are interested, here is my excuse/theory: I think the one witch history says to still be alive is Jeanne, since she sealed Bayo away to protect her there was no way for anyone to know that Miss B was still alive, and since Jeanne was the heir of the Umbran throne I think she is badass enought to stay alive for 500 years, maybe eternal youth is one of the powers of the witches, or maybe they just age veeeeery slowly.

I think they can manipulate age periodd. Seeying as if they age tat slow, Cereza would have to of been growing up for a while...So I think more age manipulation then aging slowly.

Maybe that why they have to sacrifice angels now? In orther to keep their youth they must sacrifice angels or else their demon sponsers are going to take their youth away, and since they are over 500 years they'll turn to dust and go to hell.

Well if Bayonetta supposed to be dead, Hell would want her. So I think the angels are what's keeping them satisfied. more like she's has some fun staying alive to stay on Earth. Jeanne's prolly just joining the fun. but if Witches live forever, then Hell's missing out on deaths. So the angels make up for them staying immortal.

That sounds right, but Bayo isn't supposed to be dead, again she was simply hidden from the world. I'll go with 'keeping the demons satisfied', after all they sold their souls to their demon sponsers for their powers, so hell must be crazy to get their souls already, there is where the angels come in, to keep the demons distracted and buy them some more time. What ya think?

Of course. It's proven they can die of natural causes. One, Bayo diesm she's killed by angels, but they are just using weapons. She can also get hit by trucks and cars in the Route666 mission,Which can kill her.
And when Bayo thought Jeanne got killed by the missiles, even though she knew by then she's a witch. Of course I meant on immortal, on an aging sense, LOL, You don't really find main characters that can't be killed by normal stuff, like swords, and cars and explosions>XD

Actually, it doesn't really look like they can die. Even when you get a game over screen : Bayo isn't dead yet, she's just knocked out, choose "No" and you'll see her wake up and struggle when the demons drag her to Inferno. Much like the Virtues, who, even after getting the most severe beating (heck, one of them even gets decapitated), they don't die, they just get weak enough for the demons to take a hold of them, it's probably the same for witches, immortal, but demons' targets :)

Being a game, with a game over option screen, I'm guessing Bayonetta just gets knocked out.
I think they can die, just not by age.

Well, I know one. Dante from Devil May Cry (also made by Hideki Kamiya) who's been impaled 6 times throughout the DMC series, and he survived through all of them. But in gameplay terms, he can still be killed by natural causes, so yeah.
