  • this was very useful for me great detailing for it

  • This is great, I am trying to get the wifi to work, and the switch is broken off, are there steps I can skip? Or am I going to be able to do anything to correct the problem anyway?

  • @pinetree4c - You'll have to replace the component.

  • @pinetree4c Same with me, it was on off while it dropped from a table with the WLAN switch faced down so it's now stuck in off :(

  • Damn, sucks the UMD door removal is one of the last steps :(

  • Whats That Clear Thing That Makes The Analog Stick Move??Because I Lost Mine And I Wanna Buy One... I Just Dont Know The Name

  • nice thx very good video best :)

  • Oh it was a pain in the behind actually fixing this thing! Cleaning saliva out of the power surge board, then fixing two screws (which I wasn't supose to take out) to the point that I had to almost take the whole PSP apart (some parts did not budge, but found workaround)!

Anyway, great tutorial in showing what is needed for several parts (needed flat tool!) and for giving your time to teach us the steps to repair the PSP 1000 series! Thanks!!!

  • great video. i hate sony right now though. the screws in mine seem to all be over tightened and i even had to take a dremil to one of them. seriously those really flat silver ones just refuse to loosen and the metal is too soft so the head is ruined after 1 try... oh and also what size screwdriver should i use for the last 4 screws in the umd drive? double 0 just isnt small enough.

  • damn i cant remove my bottom screw

  • Can you please tell me, how hard is it to put everything back once you take most of it apart? I think I need to replace my charging socket and it LOOKS easy except for the part where you have to unhook a plug/cord.. Are those hard to put back too?

  • @Kazei0 - Putting it back together is not that difficult.

  • yes it was really difficult putting it together

  • @Kazei0 it's as hard to put back together as you make it. Diagram it step by step and you're fine.
