The Beemer V10 sounds great and can't resist that on public roads. The GTR is packed not only with technologies but also with sheer power (unlike the R32s, R33s and R34s). With this kind of combination, some supercars will have nightmares and even Ferrari F430s and 599 have to watch out.
What puts me off for the GTR is the seating position is rather high for even a sport car but still I've been a fan since the R32 Godzilla.

Yeah it was placed in 3rd but only a car length back, yet the light Spec-V didn't show any advantage, & it ws from a stop. Only in the later laps did the extra 50k breaks come into play, only make breaking passes. "look what happen once he pass them?" he passed dude on the last corner & won by 2 feet, lol. Now it may sound like I'm hatin on ur car, but I'm not. I guess what my point is there is very little room for improvment on such a computer dominant car...

Also another point the Best Motoring Time Attack at tsukuba circuit. The Spec-V times were 1:02.675,1:02.957. With a tire type change 1:02.480 & 1:02.525. While the base modle 09'GTR put down a near same 1:02.747. Very little room givin the Spec-V advantages.

The '09 models, if you used LC, yes it would void your warranty. On the '10 models it has been removed, but will still achieve the same 0-60 times and will not void your warranty.

there are plenty of ppl who blew their trannys for launching excessively the first 200 miles. they launched 20+ times or so. for an awd car its to much strain on the transmission. on the flipside there are plenty of ppl on the GTR forums who launch and nothing at all ha happened. they end of voidint the warranty so its a weird situation. but the transmissions have been abused to hell.

Lets get it right, Nissan says that ABUSING the LC will void the warranty not USING it. There is a differnce between USE and ABUSE. Even will Porsche's new PDK duel clutch system it states in the owners manual that the warranty will be voided if they have found any abuse. Dont be so dramatic.

The transmissions are fine, "supposedly" there have been some isolated incidents of people not letting the launch control feature cool down beween runs and also not properly breaking-in the transaxle. This is considered ABUSE not USE. As with any duel clutch system...it needs time to cool(as indicated by a blinking red light on the dash)..This rumor has been spread(exaggerated) by GM fanboys that are trying to discredit the GT-R as an engineering marvel.
No its not a rumor,i go to THE nissan dealer quite often and ive seen 3 GTR'S in for busted trannys, but i do like the car, i just prefer the Z-06 WITH EXHAUST, A CAM AND DRAG RADIALS AND DO LOW 10'S CONSISTANTLY. N/A
break in as in put more miles on it so that if you pushed it, it would not do damage to the engine. an m3 for example cant be pushed above a certain RPM for like 80 miles or something. Breaking in engines of sports cars sucks cuz its tempting to floor it ;)

1, the 335 wasn't "brand new". I'm sure it's been tracked more than once since it came out in 07.
2, It handles better than G37.
3, If you want to change the comparison AGAIN from Nissan to Infinity, what is the top of the line Infinity you offer? BMW has a model that is better than what Infinity can offer.
4, If you want to compare Nissan to BMW again, out of all the Nissans, the best you got is a GTR. What do you have besides that which can beat a M3, M5? Can a murano beat x5M? x35i?

The M6 had you on the first run but you braked making seem as though that you have beaten him and it was over. V10 and a bigger engine will definitely get you on the higher end speed. There is no point of saying that the second run was started at the same time because the second run was also started the same. The only difference is that the BMW started late in the second run.

No UK GT-R has beaten a 11.8... that 11.8 is due to a great 4wd launch. Rolling the M6 stock for stock is quicker.
Look on drivers-republic,com, Stock M6 pulls away from a 997 turbo rolling 30mph
GT-R is no quicker than a 997 Turbo.

there are plenty of ppl who blew their trannys for launching excessively the first 200 miles. they launched 20+ times or so. for an awd car its to much strain on the transmission. on the flipside there are plenty of ppl on the GTR forums who launch and nothing at all ha happened. they end of voidint the warranty so its a weird situation. but the transmissions have been abused to hell.

With the 7spd gearbox, the ///M NEVER falls out of its power band, between every shift its constantly kept above 6K rpms and usually around 6500-7000RPMs for the higher gears.

Lets get it right, Nissan says that ABUSING the LC will void the warranty not USING it. There is a differnce between USE and ABUSE. Even will Porsche's new PDK duel clutch system it states in the owners manual that the warranty will be voided if they have found any abuse. Dont be so dramatic.

That is NOT true. The transmissions are fine, "supposedly" there have been some isolated incidents of people not letting the launch control feature cool down beween runs and also not properly breaking-in the transaxle. This is considered ABUSE not USE. As with any duel clutch system...it needs time to cool(as indicated by a blinking red light on the dash)..This rumor has been spread(exaggerated) by GM fanboys that are trying to discredit the GT-R as an engineering marvel.

break in as in put more miles on it so that if you pushed it, it would not do damage to the engine. an m3 for example cant be pushed above a certain RPM for like 80 miles or something. Breaking in engines of sports cars sucks cuz its tempting to floor it ;)
