  • 0:25 BOTOX!! LOL

  • ARM, hmmm, interesting

  • 0:20 does that man remind you of Total recal? When arnold sees himself on tv.

  • you need to control these coke eyes

  • I will watch out to come at the Nuremburg exhibition (Embedded world)

  • he´s gay

  • @roki92 are you gay?

  • @HamayunShah no but maybe you really are.

  • @roki92 no i am not gay. it was you, not me, who said someone was gay in the video, how would you know, u gay?

  • buy cheap, buy twice

  • @mrmein Moet jij nodig zeggen jij praat ook geen engels. Jij bent zeker zo'n kut Marokkaantje of turk die alleen maar kan vloeken en schelden.

  • yeah just get on with the cool stuff techy geeks gee

  • fucking useless video

  • Can anyone enlighten me on the viability of RISC in a desktop environment? As I understand it the reason ARM is so successful in the mobile space is because it requires very little power compared to intel/AMD chips; why can this technology not work on desktop computers?

  • @Ashitaka255

Because DOS/Windows apps are compiled to run on Intel. Intel has had the slower processors from their inception (Motorola 68k CPUs were almost always faster) until around 2002, however they never had to sweat because nobody wants to change their software even if Intel processors were half as powerful.

I used RISC-based desktop Macs until IBM/Motorola stopped competing in that market. IBM focused on server and console processors while Motorola focused on embedded systems.

  • anyway the vids crap arm cpu's were developed by the people who developed the bbc model b using 6502 8 bit (probably the earliest risc based chip) processor and met up with the guys who developed it and took to what it is today. intel are cisc based but basically risc with lots of microcode (silicon) to do more complex instructions.

  • I wish they put A-15 on PSVITA

  • at 2:52 those upper icons are token from maemo5 a.k.a N900!

  • LORUS

  • funny how it's ARM vs intels CORE i processors. ARM vs CORE, like wut i did thar? Total annihilation anyone? :P

  • @StateCCM

its more of a risc vs cisc

  • ARM is great for smartphones and such. But the fact they think they will compete with x86 in the high end and server world... Not going to happen.

  • @Amrut223 servers are exactly the place where they will score. They would probably have more trouble competing on the desktop. The idea is that a lot of server workloads could be served well by using a machine with many "medium performance" processors rather than a few "high performance" ones.

One of the limits that people come up against is the amount of power that server rooms need so ARMs power efficiency makes it much easier to install big servers. I've had this problem - its no joke.

  • @Amrut223 its happening

  • tht should be on NGP

  • 3:11 dramatically accelerate ?, is this good ? let's see

  • Anyone see the OMAP5 specs yet? It's bloody insane.

  • Amazing. ARM is progressing so quickly. And then when Graphene becomes a mainstream material in manufacturing? Imagine! What will happen to x86...

  • @Geoxile Lol, maybe in mobile and smarthpone are ARM good, but in computers and notebook are doubfully best Intel, so some poor ARM cant chance to be in computers, only in mobile phones.

  • @TheQARK Lol, I know. And don't count out AMD. Waiting for Bulldozer to kick ass

  • @TheQARK, yeah sure keep your intel inside heat up , while my battery will keep going on the A15

the intel could be nice for boiling eggs, but still to expensive for this task

  • @itaiddddd Intel is only one good cpu manufacter in world, any others suck, look at AMD best their CPU have same performance like medium i5 what is intel mid range

  • @Geoxile

Who cares? x86 can DIAF for all I care. They were never good processors to code for.

  • 6mins, 8secs of blah, blah & 38second os gruelsome frozen frame... ne ways, its nice to know the new chip :)

  • low power = love power :D

  • lul... ARM... reminds me of total annihilation

  • This buisness style home movie does not work, stick with the product, how it pleases your target audience, future steps, what the product does, support information.. This is what shows that you know the market, not a bunch of guys talking on and on about stuff that the target audience does not care about.. save it for the board room and get in touch with your customers ;)

  • Awful video. But still the ARM Cortex-A15 rulez. Can't wait to see iPhone's 6 generation that will hopefully base on it!

  • Could they have any less charisma?

Reading from the prompter is so insincere.

  • This video is a waste of my time. A bunch of marketing spam. My bet is that these CPU's not going to be cheap initially ( ie cell phone price ). Look forward to some real technical information. ARM is acting more like INTEL... marketing .. marketing.. marketing

  • My head is aching now!

  • 8 dislikes by AMD and Intel lmao

  • us brits are very good at engineering...Im very good in a 3d way of thought...I don't use phrases or old terms..im fresh, infact I laugh at more or less every product ive seen so far..I just suffer from asperger's syndrome, so ignore me....I am advancement!

  • I love the lowpower CPU like ARM.

  • Show more clips of the cortex. I want one.

  • you shouldn't do a close-up when the guy is blatantly just reading from a prompter as it is easy to see the eyes move and it just a total distraction

  • That looks nice.

  • wireless space stations?

  • too much talking..

  • Sounds like ARM have a real winner on their hands with their new baby.

  • Nice infomertial. Is there a hotline number where I can order today and get me 2 Abmasters 3000/Eagle A15 for the price of 1?

  • Too many buzz words and old "management" talk. Just get to the point within 2 minutes and show us what's cool.
