One drop does not bind directly to the water surface because between the droplet and the surface is a thin layer of air. When air moves, the first portion of water is diluted with siuperficie, bouncing to a smaller portion of the energy and the air released from the previous one, until it finishes blend with any surface water
Wow. In normal speed I only saw it skitter across the surface a bit, but certainly nothing as detailed as it was in slow motion! It's like art. That's way cool.
