The okanogan family faire is an amazing, Peace loving, culturaly stimulating event. One of my favite places ever!!!

If you like reggae or positive hiphop check out the Sick Donkey Records Conscious music showcase from saterday night at the '08 fair. There was the usaul crew: DJ Stick, Essential I, Jahson Ites and Huckleberry as well as guest apearances by Adrain Xavier, Fogey and Willie Lumplump.

Had I erected a McCain/Palin booth or wandered the grounds with a McCain/Palin backpack, the 'cum by ya', touchy feely, if-it-feel-good-do-it crowd would have burned me at the stake. We would have enjoyed some serious ugliness. Despite the 'implied message' of the event, there was no invention or practice that remotely suggested an improvement of the human condition. It was a hypocritical yard sale selling junk mostly from China.

Obama has single handedly done more for the 2nd amendment than any president in history. Record gun and ammo sales for all the wrong reasons.

The same way he revived the gun industry is the same way he is leading America.

Obama voters have enabled the transition from free market capitalism to fascism.

It's difficult for me to forgive the limited mindset of Obama voters.

I went to the faire looking for the extra-ordinary but I saw little more than hypocrisy.

I'm all in favor of the Faire.

I like a good party. I like an art show. I like the sales.

What I didn't like was the promotion of Marxism.

Let's not make broad generalizations about who attends the Barter Faire. I've met all kinds of people there, conservatives, conservationists, liberals, middle of the road, middle class,fence sitters, fence builders, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims, everyone dancing together! Remember, what we see is what's in our mind, so everyone sees things from their own perspective.
