Tonite from his album You Have Reached Mike Phillips. That is a FANTASTIC album. You gotta get it! I saw him in London with Prince this summer and ALMOST LOST my mind. I immediately bought his first album and I am kicking myself for not buying the other one there in UK but I was broke! ;)

Mike used to play on his Signature Alto Sax by Hollywood Winds, but it looks like, nowadays he often plays a Selmer Reference. His mouthpiece is a Jumbo Java, and he use ZZ reeds... But you cant try boy, Mike Philly's one UNIQUE Cat, unique sound, unique style... Damn I love this man
