My family and i watch A Muppet's Christmas Carol together every year and have done since my two daughters were little, we now watch it with our four grandchildren too.

Christmas just isn't Christmas without it and this is my favourite song, such beautiful lyrics.

I know its a fact of life but i wish people didn't have to suffer the loss of a loved one.

I remember when I was in high school my best friend was describing a sickly yet gold hearted child to me. I told her it sounded like Tiny Tim. She asked me what I meant and I explained this scene to her including singing her the song. She loved it as much as I did.

This song is sad but yet very cheerful. I lost my dad 2 years ago, and for some reason I always start to remebmer the good fun times i had with him when i listen to this song. even though I miss him so much I feel happy and smile when i think of the fun we had together. thanks for posting

this was dad's favorite muppet song. He introduced me to the muppets as a young kid.

This song. No matter how many times I listen to it, I cry hysterically. It is such a warm and genuine song. Paul Williams really did an amazing job. This song is a prayer, asking for the one thing we hold dearest to us to be strong, loving and blessed through good times and bad. My condolences to everyone who's lost someone. BLESS US ALL!!
